One Tree Hill: Season 3 [DVD]

While it may not have the same heart and originally of the previous 2 seasons, season 3 of One Tree Hill manages to build on the past two seasons despite its over the top ending that sent the show down a path it never fully recovered from

What can I say that has not all ready been said about One Tree Hill. I discovered this show on DVD and was quickly addicted to it. Lucas and Hailey are my favorite characters on the show. Brooke brings a great laugh which always light up the moment. The show does not just deal with teen elements but the adults of the show have much of their own drama. This third season along with the first are great. I liked the second season but to me it was not as good as the first and third. If this show was on ABC it would give Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Desperate Housewives a run for their money. Yea, it is that good! I love OTH so much, so I finally caved and got the seasons. This one however came broken. The box has scratches, the case is cracked, and the disks aren't in place. I checked the DVDs and they appear okay but I'm disappointed that they fall around and the plastic inside is broken.. idk what to do with it.

Customers should not have to buy additional items to stream movies and shows purchased on Amazon. It is a financial burden for me to have to purchase a fire stick made by Amazon even though I have a Chromecast that works great. I think it is outrageous to force customers to buy your product because you can, if they want to be able to stream. I am very dissatisfied with the purchase of my very favorite tv series because i am limited to watching it on my ipad. All because I purchased through Amazon. I bought 2 seasons from VUDU and that app gives me no trouble streaming to Chromecast. However the price per season was cheaper on Amazon. Who wants to watch shows on a small iPad when I have a very nice tv. I feel that if customers are purchasing through Amazon then Amazon shouldn’t make life so difficult! Not everyone wants an Amazon Fire stick. I certainly DO NOT want Alexia or and voice control feature in my home. There again Amazon is forcing customers a feature they may not want because you can’t just get a Fire Stick with a regular remote. My Chromecast functions just fine and it would be great if Amazon would stop trying to control customers and allow content to be streamed on any device!! Im spending my hard earned money to Amazon then I should be able to watch the shows/ movies on any device I want, including streaming through Chromecast!!!!

I really enjoyed this show all the way from season 1-4, they did a good job; it was mindless entertainment & held my attention. It’s a real shame that the show went on as long as it did though.Season 3 was good, there are some interesting things with this one & you finally get questions answered about certain things that weren't in season 2.DVDs: All discs work great, the menus are straight forward & easy to use.If you’re a One Tree Hill fan, this is a good one to add to your collection.

Needed to get replacement disc from One Tree Hill Season 3 as one of the discs had gotten scratched and no longer playable, Found what I needed and at a fair price and ordered. Service was fast and without problems. I will buy from them again.

Dan survived the fire and vows revenge, his evil machinations again to dominate - including a bid to be mayor, can you believe!Season 3 has disappointments - a few stories trite, a rather shallow newcomer creakingly stirring things up a bit. Not all the attempts at comedy work: some of the younger stars needing to know it involves more than speaking very quickly and waving arms around.Fortunately the strengths dominate: much of the writing, most of the cast. There are welcome returns of favourite characters, moving portrayals of teenagers trying to adapt to new circumstances: Lucas keeping secret his heart condition; Peyton out of the blue confronted by her biological mother; the marriage of Nathan and Haley in disarray. Outstanding (again) are Barry Corbin as Coach and Lee Norris as Mouth - spellbinders both, dominating the screen whenever they appear.As for Episode 16...! Here an already fine series attains new heights - at the High School, sudden horror. Although mirroring similar real life tragedies, sensationalism is avoided - a heartrending issue sensitively handled and provoking much thought. Cast and crew were deeply affected during the making. Also powerful is the episode that follows, those who were involved trying to make sense of it all.Despite occasional weaknesses (including unconvincing final cliffhangers), the season deserves its five stars. Although over fifty years older than the probable intended audience, I found much to applaud - not least the show's heart and integrity.

As with the two previous seasons, this one starts immediately after the end of the first with the fire at Dan's car dealership. It sees the kids entering the first half of their senior year at Tree Hill High School with the drama getting even better than before.With this season, the show has really got into it's stride with the confidence of the actors within their roles and the writing really coming together to produce some outstanding television.The box set contains all 22 episodes of the third season. As with the previous seasons there are plenty of extras including additional scenes on most episodes, commentaries on three episodes and a featurette on the making of an episode.If you have enjoyed the first two seasons, then this is an essential purchase.

Such a great series! I'm glad I bougth it. =DI bougth season 1-4 at the same time. Before I bought the series I watched a few episodes online and I'm glad I did. I decided to buy the series, so I can watch it over and over again. I can't get enought of One Tree Hill! When I watch an episode I almost can't stop again. The drama is so intense that I have to see what's happening next. So I can use hours just on that series. The show keeps getting better and better! So my advice is: just lean back and enjoy the drama in Tree Hill. You will not get disappointed!From Amazon you get a fast delivery, where the package is in really good condition when you get it - No broken DVDs or cases.The series was inexpensive (compared to the prices in Denmark) - I bought 4 seasons for the same amount of money I should have used for only ONE season in DK.I'll give the products a 5 out of 5 stars! <3 The service is a bonus ;)

I absolutely love One Tree Hill. Seasons 1-4 are set in high school, so great for younger audience (maybe 16-24) and then Seasons 5-9 are when they are all grown up and these episodes suit an older audience as well. People say it goes downhill after Season 5 but I love all the episodes and they have really strong characters which I've grown to love. I've made my guy friends watch it and they pretend to think it's all soppy but they secretly love it too. Highly recommended!!!!

If you like a good drama, this is for you.
