Effective Product with Great Customer Service
I purchased the Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser in January 2018 after my dentist recommended it. I waited until July to provide a review, because I wanted to wait until I had a follow-up visit with my dentist. When they made the recommendation, they informed me that I was beginning to get some plaque buildup, which might require a deep cleaning. They suggested that I try the Waterpik for six months and come back for a follow-up appointment. I just had the visit, and there was a marked improvement, and no need for deep cleaning. I have used the device daily for the last six months, and now feel confident that it really does help improve your oral health. It is also (for me, at least) very pleasant to use. While it is noisy, my teeth feel that kind of clean after visiting the dental hygienist after every use. I further recommend the product because of the great customer care from Waterpik. The reservoir on my device recently started leaking. I first went to the Amazon site to see if I could buy a replacement, and it isn't offered. I then went to the Waterpik site, and they don't offer replacement tanks for this model either, so I started an online chat with them. They asked a few simple questions, and then offered to send an entire new unit to me at no cost. Really great customer service was instant, and they clearly support their products aftermarket. Following is the link to the model I bought: Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser Designer Series, White, WP-670

Great
Both my husband and I had Waterpiks in the 80's when we had braces. Our 8 year old son recently became intrigued by them, and we decided anything that increases an 8 year old's interest in oral care AND will also improve ours is a win/win. We received the waterpik a day earlier than expected, and the packaging was in great condition. Everything described was included. I love that it is a nice compact size, and does not occupy a great deal of counter space. We have liked that you can add mouthwash to the water, it adds an extra feeling of clean. There are plenty of different water pressure settings, so each family member's needs are met. There is a massage setting, however I do not see the benifit for myself. Overall, fantastic product that proves Waterpik knows what they are doing. Looking forward to reaping the benefits of our new Waterpik at the Dentist office!

Does What It Is Advertised To Do
I am so glad that I purchased this Waterpik system. My reason routine dentist visit did not turn out the way I thought it would. I brush 2-3 times a day and floss as well, still I had to have a deep root cleaning due to plague. I have recently purchased this Waterpik and can say that I already feel and see a difference in the health of my gums and teeth. Even after brushing and flossing, when I use the Waterpik, more food particles are loosened and dispelled from my mouth. I can't way to see what my next dental appointment will reveal. I am going to purchase another Waterpik system for my daughter as well. Really, the results are awesome. I know this may sound weird, but when I eat something, I can't wait to clean my gums and teeth. How awesome is that?!

Digs Deep
This is a very nice unit. I have the power set to 4 and it's plenty to get down deep in the softer gums (areas rated 3 or worse by my dentist). This will not replace flossing. I'm using this together with regular flossing to get deep down in areas damaged from a few years of neglect. I'm shocked at how much debris is rinsed from my gums when it feels like nothings in my mouth. I use it just once a day and it really does clean where the string floss cant!

Works well, but not very strong
It took me a while to find the right setting. It seems it's not as strong as previous waterpiks I've had, because I had to turn it up to an 8. I was expecting a 4 or 5 based on the instructions. I've only had it about a month so we'll see how well it holds up over time. I do like that it's actually smaller than I thought, but still holds enough water to get through a full cycle.

Great for Braces
I bought this because it had all of the features I wanted after I compared Waterpik models. I really like the large water capacity compared to other options. It's worked great for several months and is easy to use. It really helps me keep up with my dental hygiene since I have braces. It definitely has a lot of power; I've only gotten to the third power setting so far. It would be nice if there was storage built in for the tips that would allow them to dry.

Love it!
Excellent quality and SO much easier than flossing! Tips can go in the dishwasher. The unit is easy to operate. - Other reviews have mentioned the lines getting dirty from standing water. When you're done using it, if you'll hold the unit up in the air (about shoulder height) and the wand down in the sink all the water will run out of the coiled line. Thank you gravity! You won't have any water in the lines if you drain the line this way after each use. - Others have also mentioned the lines blowing out, well.... these things are like mini pressure washers. If you leave the pump turned on and the valve turned off the pressure has no way to escape and you're going to blow the line just like you would on a water hose or pressure washer.

For your health, get it.
I have never had a problem with plaque. I came back to the U.S. from two years in West Africa, and my dentist looked at my teeth and said I have no plaque on my teeth, BUT they are cracked! I am a person who eats chicken bones down to shards...if I have KFC, there will be a tiny pile of bone shards left on the plate when I'm done. I eat all of the cartilage, then I split the bone and chew all of the marrow out of it...I'm a savage. I'm no longer doing that because I'm mostly plant-based these days (with occasional wine and cigarettes). On Dec. 27th, I had my 3rd molar removed. It had been capped, twice. It hurt for three years because it was cracked, so I had it removed, turns out it was the second healthy tooth I had removed for no reason. WV dentists remove healthy teeth, FYI. I bought this machine to clean around the three isolated teeth I still have. I have three islands that are not easy to floss "between". This is a good-looking appliance! It doesn't take up a lot of room on the sink, and it has three heads with different colors, so I load it up for my husband at bedtime (he grew up in CA with fluoride in his water and has no cracked teeth, but he has a pocket of gingivitis the dentist is watching). He flosses in the morning, but not on the weekends! He has major plaque in his lower teeth when he doesn't floss, I don't have that because my saliva is different, apparently.
