These strings are so reliable. Good sound, not too bright or too boomy. A great deal at the price.

Good short scale strings at a very affordable price. They have a bright sound, and the light gauge works for my daughter's Ibanez Micro bass. I had a hard time finding a short scale string that was inexpensive and quality, but the D'Addario is perfect. Before I found these, I put regular scale strings on her bass, and I do not recommend doing that because it changed the neck, and the E string did not easily fit in the tuning peg.

these are pretty much the only pics I use. When I was younger I used to prefer the small gym Dunlop three jazz picks because they gave me a great deal of control and expression. I upgraded to these larger pics when an accident caused numbness in my thumb and made it harder for me to keep the smaller pics in my hand. The numbness is gone from my thumb but I have stuck with these pics just because they’re easier to hold onto. Dunlop III picks last forever, but these are just easier to hold onto.

Change your bass strings every 6 months if they need it or not 😎

I've been a long time user of D'Addario guitar strings and will continue to be. These felt and sounded terrific as soon as I put them on my bass. One of the things I like most about D'Aaddario strings is that they last a long time. And even though I mostly play 6 string lead guitar, and I do a lot of aggressive string bending, they have not broken on me either. That's less of a problem/concern for bass playing but it says a lot about the quality and reliabilty of D'Addario products. If this sounds like an ad, I guess I can't help that--I really call it as it is.

Arrived in a timely fashion, as per the seller's prediction.These are good quality strings and sound great. A huge improvement on the ones supplied with the bass.Very pleased all round.

I always prefer this lighter gauge on my long scale basses and required the same for my Gibson SG bass - these are perfect and having no silk endings fit the Gibson bridge with full string contact

Have used this brand of strings ,tried others, these are the best IMOStable, good tone and feel, last about as long as one would expectWell packaged too,that does matter..
