Works ok to say it's plastic, I let clothes soak first before scrubbing them. Wasn't happy when I came as there is a crack in the corner so don't no how long it will last .

No electricity needed
To be honest we are all counting the kilowatt hours with the price of electricity. So I decided to hand wash my clothes.This handy dandy board is excellent, helps remove stains and easy to use. Just the right size. So the washing machine sits alone and unused. It’s been replaced with a viable alternative
