Okay had to make that pun but in all seriousness, such a beautifully illustrated and educational book for young minds! This very special book was given to me when I was a kid and I just bought it for my friend's little girl. One of my favorite parts is how each animal is labeled with a number that's linked to a key at the end of the book!

This product is great for students/children who need examples of imaging their thoughts.

We borrowed this book from the library but it's so beautiful I wanted to own a copy. Love all the animals and the point of the story- imagining being in a far away place, is special too.

Very nice book for smart little kids who are interested in learning about animals from around the world. The drawings are very nice; it's like a picture puzzle where you find animals hidden in their habitats. It covers the coral reefs, rain forests, Africa, Australia, Artic Regions, Prehistoric Animals, and the farm. By far this is my daughter's most favorite book. Check out other Alison Lester books they are nice and different from what we have here in America.

Excellent book for young children regarding habitats.

This book was one of my daughter's favourite when she was little. Now, it is to be one for her child. Books mean everything to us and this one is no exception.

This is a lovely, colourful book for children to look at, discuss and spot new animals each time they look at the pictures. It explores the familiar and unfamiliar - I especially love the Rainforest and Safari pages! I have used this with groups and classes in Foundation Phase and KS2 to capture children's imaginations, especially for geography, science and art. It also went down well when I used Deadly 60 clips to go with the pictures so the children could learn more about some of the creatures relating to our topic :)

I always like to see an example of a page of a book when buying so I know if it’s at a suitable age for my kids so I’ve attached some photos. The cover has a beautiful glitter effect on it.

This is a brilliant book for children, our original copy got wet in an accident and even though the children are no longer children we just had to replace it.

I buy this book for all my family/friends who have children. I love the way it shows how heaps of animals are.
