## Description

Starck 3 pans come with blind hole fixing plugs fitted at time of manufacture. You may require new ones so check. If unsure order them. You can veiw them on the picture slide show on the order page. This seat fits seat pan hole centres of 270mm. These are the holes in the pan not the pins that the seat attaches to. You will need to fit the new fittings that the seat comes with. Please take time to look at the pictures of the 4 x starck 3 pans this seat will fit, we have provided dimensions. Starck 3 are also available as an extra wide pan or an extra long pan. THIS SEAT WILL NOT FIT THOSE MODELS WHICH ARE RARE. If you are measuring seat hole centres of 220-160 then you require may require a starck2 / happyd seat. If you are measuring aprox 220mm across the pin centres chances are it will be a starck 3 that you require. You are ordering a Toilet seat designed to fit Duravit starck 3 standard pans. Soft close, quick release Manufactured from anti bac urea plastics from chemiplastica of Italy. This wrapover design features soft closing hinge mechanisms for that real touch of luxury. Easily removed for cleaning by pushing 2 x chromed quick release buttons. Complete with stainless steel fixings, cover . Will fit seat hole centres of 270mm.

A good price compared with some alternatives. It was surprisingly easy to fit. I think the overall quality is second to the Duravit but overall OK so far. The mechanism did start to squeak a little but a bit of lubricant fixed that. Toilet seats often can become misaligned after some use - this one is extremely stable.

**Q: Does this toilet seat fit duravit toilet with the fixing holes to 150 mm apart? Diagram suggest it covers holes from 177 mm to 277 mm is this right?**
A: No Sorry. Sugest you need the one to fit duravit happy d which is similar or the starck 2 (same seat). The duravit starck 3 are unique in having seat hole centres of 270mm. Remember these are the holes manufactured into the pan and not the pins that stick up that the seat attaches to.

Having taken a sharp intake of breath at the replacement cost of the original Duravit seat, I plumped for this after market replacement. I was concerned about the quality - albeit it's still the better part of a hundred quid for a bog seat! I should not have worried. Quality is excellent. Perhaps better than the original. It was simple to fit once the original bungs were removed from the pan - which was a pain in the a**e to do. As others have said the instructions were excellent and made fitting - which isn't difficult - something even a simpleton like me could do. HIghly recommended.
