Review: Best tape I've used! - I'm a newer stick drummer (not hand, to clarify - this says its for hand drumming and the TLDR is its amazing for stick drumming). A week ago I had a really long musical therapy session with some heavy 90's rock/grunge, a little metal, and ended up with some gnarly popped blisters on my right index finger and some smaller blisters on other fingers. I tried putting a Band-Aid on with some bandage tape over the top, and wore right through it (not to mention making a sticky mess on my sticks). I tried using "athletic tape," but it was too wide and rigid so I had to cut it into strips to get any flexibility in my fingers. It held okay at first, but quickly began to peel away after about 15-20 minutes of drumming. When I got the Eucatape, I opened it up and was impressed by the smell, for some reason I expected it to smell more like Eucalyptus and glue or plastic, but it just smells like clean Eucalyptus. I had a job interview I had to be to and my finger was still all chewed up looking, so I did a quick wrap. The tape is flexible, and even though it was very obvious that my finger was "bandaged," it didn't look like an unsightly mess like the other tapes I'd used. After the job interview, I decided to unwind with an hour-long drum session. The tape continued to last, it didn't peel up or wear through. It even lasted through washing my hands after. I've been using it for an hour to hour and a half every day for four days now and I'm still loving it. Even with just a single layer of wrap, my fingers have been healing and the other problem areas on my hands look way better. It may say "hand drummers tape" on the side of the tin, but it's my new favorite stick drumming accessory.

This tape is great for handrumming. It's a godsend when I'm doing a 3 hour gig on Cajon. The only draw back is that it makes me smell like an old lady on Ben Gay!
