Old Dominion"Williamsburg" Clay Tobacco Pipe

Extremely good experience with this clay pipe.

I'm a long time pipe smoker, usually smoking briar, meerschaum and corncob pipes. I've recently ventured into clay pipes and find them some of the best pipes I've smoked. This pipe is no exception to that, as it smokes quite well. The only thing I'd say might be a downside is the bowl is a bit small, so if you're used to large bowl pipes, you may be disappointed. I like the small bowl as it allows me to have a relatively quick smoke. It's also a very well made clay pipe compared to some others I've owned. The hole in the stem is centered well, and the walls of the bowl itself are relatively thick. Very nice pipe for the price.

Clay pipes - when well made - are wonderful to smoke. Old Dominion's clay pipe is everything an 18th century clay tobacco pipe is supposed to be. I love this pipe far better than my vastly more expensive briar pipes. Be advised, Old Dominion is the ONLY clay pipe that I recommend, and since I am both a native of Williamsburg and an experienced antiquarian tobacconist, I hope you will consider their offerings if you intend to buy a clay pipe. You will not be disappointed.

This clay pipe is well made, but I still prefer a pipe with a stem you can bite down on. I’m sticking with my MM cob modded with a Walker Briar Works churchwarden stem.

It gets a bit too hot while smoking tobacco.

Great pipe omg i never would have thought this magnificent pipe would become my favorite piece but it surpassed my expectations and has replaced my peterson briar as my new favorite thanks!

I give the seller 1star, normally apon finding out that a defective product was sent out most sellers would replace it for free,this seller however will not! and the product gets only 1 star! Product defects! The stem tube was placed so close to out side of pipe stem that after only three days of use the oils soaked through the side of the stem and poof a long hole in the side of my pipe! Sad concidering that up until the pipe failed I was loving it! A cool smooth clean enjoyable pipe!
