Worked great to light up LEDs on a project.
Worked perfect, used them on a project as current indicators, 4 speed furnace blower, put one on each speed wire so when each speed is selected it lights up a individual led indicator. (voltage is present on each wire in any speed, like a auto-transformer, so these only pickup a signal when the speed is selected because thats the only time amperage is present! Lights them up good and bright! The leds i used had a diode in series, just left and it worked great. Highly recommended.

I'm using this to monitor the on/off status of a sprinkler controller (24VAC). I ended up using the supplied 80Ω burden resistor, then a few 10k resistors and 10µF cap into a wemos analog input (prototype photo attached). My clamp meter measures .2A draw on the sprinkler solenoids... I'll need to do some more cals (and learning) about the burden resistor values and EmonLib library if I want to get accuracy.

These kits are quick and simple to assemble. You just need a little soldering experience and it goes right together. I am using it to measure a couple motors with Arduino with no problems. These are solidcore so you have to pass the wire through the core. This means your wire has to be disconnected or cut at some point so it can pass through. I looped mine through 3 times and it seems to work really well.

received on time ok quality
Works as described. Good general purpose current transformer.

Products work well as long as you either re-solder them or put them on a different board
Out of the 5 that I received, 2 had issues and took me quite a bit of time to realize that I had the right code, but the device wasn't working correctly. After looking, the solder traces on the board are not in the best of shape, and the soldering was done poorly. I got the 3 working great, and re-soldered the pins on those, and the other 2, just made up a board and moved them the components over to a different breadboard and used screw wire clamps instead of the pins, which are in the way anyway.

I would recommend it to a friend
Fast delivery. Compact reliable design. Easy installation. Reasonable priceI am using it as a current sensor.

Three Stars
It didn't work with that resistor, but it work with a 10K resistor.
