Geez
I’ve been eating protein and meal replacement bars for over 20 years now. These are by far the easiest to eat, the flavor is great for what it is and the best part is it’s made with whole foods. Don’t let yourself down by being an idiot and expecting these to taste like gamgams desert at your 5th birthday party or aunt Nancy’s cobbler at your annoying annual family reunion. They chew up fast, little to no chalkiness, no gas and no bloating. Yea it’s only 20g/bar but dude, it’s real food and sometimes it’s quality and ease of eating/digestion over quantity and poor digestion/absorption and a shart ton of extra chemicals and preservatives. Redcon is doing big things, sorry I didn’t try them sooner, same with their powders I wish I would have made the switch to this brand earlier. Price is on point too. Can’t wait to get my hands on the other flavors. Cudos Mr. Singerman.

Actually pretty tasty
Was pretty nervous about these only because there's a lot of variation in meal bars. I've got an upcoming multi-day river trip and wanted to test these out as a lunch option while floating. Got the crunchy peanut butter cup and they were actually really tasty. I took them to work for lunch for an entire week and one bar filled me up. Fixing to buy my second batch for the river trip.

Delicious!
My order arrived sooner than expected and I was excited to give these a try. This is a new company for me. The carrot cake flavor is the real deal! Satisfied my craving for carrot cake cupcakes. Very filling as my breakfast go-to bar. I love it! Will try other flavors as well. Recommended!

Great taste / Marketing / Lacks quality ingredients
Great tasting bar . Tastes amazing . Because like 10 different sweeteners . Buts fails on quality ingredients . Just read that label . Thats a fact ! If your just eating this bar to eat something and you like pastries processed by all means eat away . But if you think your adding quality nutrition then read up .

Good, but why are there peanuts in red velvet??
I love red velvet cake so I was excited to try these bars. I had never had the MRE bars before, so I was quite surprised when I bit into it and got an overwhelming peanut flavor in the red velvet bar. If not for the peanuts (which don’t belong here) it would be a 5 star flavor. Texture is good, it is soft and chewy. The sweet frosting flavor is a nice touch as well.Ingredient wise, these bars are the most unique I’ve ever seen. Lots of protein and carb sources you never see in bars. I guess that’s a plus, but it comes at a premium price.I have now had red velvet, donut, and carrot cake MRE bars. None of them quite taste like the name 100%, and peanuts are a common theme, but all are good in their own ways.

Delicious!
I have tried every flavor of these MRE Bars. The Cookie Dough was the last one on my list that I hadn't tried. Had one this morning and it is delicious! PB&J will always be my favorite, but they're hard to find. The new texture/softness and flavor compared to the old version of these bars is also night and day. The old ones were "crumbly" and these are soft and delicious, similar to a freshly baked cookie. Will continue to purchase and enjoy as a pre workout snack!

Real food ?
First i wanna say i love the bars moist / full of flavor . Great for in a pinch and hungry. Doesn't claim to be low carb high fiber like competition out their . A meal bar what i love . Great with coffee . Just tried the smores excellent. But what real food has all these artificial ingredients. I just think way to many artificial sweeteners in it . Label can be deceiving when you read real food . Great for marketing. They struck oil with the name mre

Bought out of curiosity the first time, bought more for the taste.
To be honest, I wasn't certain about these type of meal replacement bars. Mostly, I bought it out of curiosity due to the name. "MRE bar" ...as a veteran I was definitely curious, but wary of something that compared itself to the MRE's I knew in the early 1990's. However after trying them I have to admit I like the flavour and am slowly working my way through all the other flavours they offer.

First purchase was due to curiosity. Second was for the taste.

Good in a pinch, not on the wallet
Great for a hike, a long night at work or just a snack at home. But, for the price they charge, the quality does not justify it. At a pack of 12 for $40.00 you're essentially paying $3.25 per bar, give or take, and I only ate one each day - took with me to have with a rice bowl at work for part of my lunch. However, for the price I can get 7-8 boxes of nature valley or quaker bars at my local corner grocery (5 per box) for the same boost, and going by the same logic of 1 per day, 12 days for REDCON, 40 days for the alternative. All in all, was glad to try it but not worth the expense for a repeat purchase. Especially not when I'm in a position where I need to stretch my grocery budget.

First purchase was out of curiosity, second was for the taste.
I was curious about a meal replacement that would name itself after the MRE's I ate in the army in the early 1990's. I really wasn't expecting much, but was impressed with the flavour. I've been working my way through all the flavours they offer. Definitely recommend.
