KIM+ONOWomen's Satin Kimono Robe Short - Floral

I previously ordered a similar robe from a different company. However, I immediately returned it due to low quality and flimsy fabric. I was so happy to receive this robe due to its quality and wearable design. Wish I had ordered it sooner.

I am lucky enough that I was able to purchase a robe from the Kim and ono store in San Francisco. I wanted a second robe and was super excited to find that they were available on Amazon. As expected the robe is absolutely gorgeous, silky and comfortable. Now that I know I can get them on Amazon I will be ordering them for Xmas gifts this year. I HIGHLY recommend.

I also have this in the long version, which I love so much I bought the short one for summer. Kim + Ono makes the most perfectly sewn/constructed robes that I can't think of any negatives. Looks exactly like the pictures with such beautiful prints, although my preference is the Chrysanthemum, and gets softer with every wash. Nice, deep pockets! If you are bothered with it falling open, just add snaps at the waist or bust. However, this will not properly fit women over an XL size, as the cut is a bit narrow, BUT you could always wear it over a gown or jammies! Or open over pants and a top as a kimono jacket.I'm 5'4" and the short robe falls just at my knees, the long one falls at my ankles. The material is a mid weight satin that will last a very long time.

I ordered the Peacock teal color to match the robe my grandmother used to have but sadly what I received looks like the navy color and nothing close to peacock.Fit reference: I am 6’ 190 and usually a size Large for tops, and this fits great but I’m afraid any sudden movement will reveal everything to the world so I kind of wish I got the plus size, but I think this will be fine for my night time walks to front door to let the dog out.

I purchased two kimonos for my best friend and myself. These kimonos are beautifully crafted, colorful, and elegant!

Got this for my Mom for Christmas and wow! She loves it! It's beautifully crafted, the deep pockets are perfect, and the silky feel of the fabric is incredible. 100% would recommend, I'll be getting one for myself too!

Beautiful and slinky. Really does machine wash (this is the polyester version, not the silk version). Recommend washing inside a delicates bag, especially because of the sash. Have never put it through the dryer. The polyester traps heat, making it warmer than it looks like it might be.
