I really like this pad. I wish I had one a long time ago & I know I'm going to get more. I'm handicapped & 81. There are so many uses for one of these for someone like me. Tightening & untightening lids, making things stay put on the counter-top while preparing food. making dishes stay put on the table while eating.I tried eating ice cream in a paper bowl on a TV tray one time. What a joke! I only have use of one hand, so I was chasing it all over the place. finally had to put the bowl in my lap, spilled ice cream, not good. Now ANYTHING on a TV tray STAYS PUT .One side is plain & one has a faint pattern. Both sides seem to stick equally well to whatever they're in contact with.

While expensive this is an excellent product. I it to keep my water stones from sliding around while sharpening.

My mat has a slight defect in it. It has a spot that doesn't lie flat unless it's on a very smooth surface. When it's in the kitchen table it works great.

Great, bright color, nice big size and good thickness but it doesn't lay flat, there's a bulge.
