Look no further!
I love it! I’m so glad I decided to buy that one I’ve been searching for a big enough water bottle to take to the gym that is not junk plastic. The coolest part about the bottle is that it has a magnetic quick stow cap so it stays out of your face when drinking from it.

Durable, everyday waterbottle
Fantastic, durable water bottle! The lid is very high quality and a lot more durable. I love the large handle that makes toting it around easy since it is a large water bottle. I have washed mine in the dishwasher just fine. The 50oz does not fit in a standard cup holder. I don’t always tighten the lid enough, which can lead to leaking, but that’s user error.I also love that Camelbak water bottles don’t have a weird smell or make water taste plastic-y.I have yet to drop the water bottle but it appears to be durable enough not to break if it “took a spill” so to speak.Overall, this is an excellent every day water bottle.

Stylish and lightweight
This bottle is amazing!I was looking for a bottle that could hold at least 50% of my daily water intake so as to refill it only twice a day. Most of the bottles I found online were colorful (which I personally don’t like) and had motivational quotes to encourage drinking more water (which I find makes the bottles look a little childish). I love this one because A) it’s easy to carry around because of the comfortable handle and the diameter of the bottle, B) holds more than half of my daily water intake, which means less refilling, C) looks so stylish, D) the material is durable but lightweight, E) the opening is big enough to add ice. I also like the magnetic quick stow cap on this bottle. I am really looking forward to using it everyday.

New cap is VERY DIFFICULT to open with one-hand! Buy the original Camelbak Chute!
I have been using Camelbak bottles for the past 6 years. I started with the Eddy, which I loved for it's simple one hand use and pleasant drinking straw, but it would get dirty easily and sometimes mold. I have been using the original Chute for the past 3 years and absolutely love it. It is very easy to clean and there are no parts that are susceptible to mold. The cap is easy to open with one hand while you are working at your computer at work. You did have to hold the cap open with your index finger while drinking to preventing it from touching your face depending on how high you were tilting the bottle.I thought this new Chute Mag would be the same bottle but with improved so you did not have to hold the cap while tilting the bottle super high. I was WRONG! The cap is nearly impossible and very burdensome to open with one hand. It is more slippery and take about 3 times the number of turns as the previous bottle but even after accomplishing the difficult task of unscrewing, lifting off the cap to open with one hand is nearly impossible. This discourages water consumption while working or during activities. Once finally open (with two hand and much more effort) the magnet does work as advertised, but I do not see the point. If you were going to use two hands, the old bottle is still better as you could simply keep the cap back with your other hand. I will be returning this bottle and ordering more of the older bottle and hoping Camelbak does not discontinue!

Fantastic bottle for anyone!
This is a fantastic bottle that anyone can carry with them! It has a decent capacity of water (1L) so you can stay hydrated. There is a little measurement near the top of the bottle to show if you reached one liter. The main feature about this bottle is the way you can just unscrew the bottle and put it the cap off to the side without it falling on your face or nose (Hence the name chute "mag". It's very convienent and the magnet within the side of the bottle and the cap is very strong. Drinking from it is a breeze, there's a little indentation for your mouth for comfort and the hole to drink from will be just right for many people. I can't give you all a good update on mold, but previous bottles I had before would always mold and smell from the top of the cover, and I would always have to trash them before I got sick. Doesn't seem like it will happen with this bottle since it's a screw-on. I've had this bottle for two weeks now and I plan on keeping it for a long time during those long days at school and throughout college!

Sometime Simple is Better
There’s a lot of work that goes into making those water bottles with drinking spouts that are more mechanical contraption than water dispenser. But they’re annoying to clean and are poor value for the money because of the time spent cleaning.I bought the Chute Mag thinking I would replace the twist-spout cap with a plain carry handle cap for ease of cleaning. However, the replacement turned out to be unnecessary. The included cap is really easy to clean since there are no mechanical parts or buttons. Just silicone rings keeping the liquid from leaking out. Like other reviewers mentioned, the magnetic cap is a huge plus. A simple solution to the cap flopping into your face.Overall, the Chute Mag is a lot simpler to maintain than other activity-focused water bottles. That’s a win.A note. The 50 ounce bottle is huge. It will not fit in any vehicle cup holder I’ve ever seen. The only way you’re stashing this in a car is if you have a deep center console compartment. Otherwise it goes in the passenger seat or on the floor.

When I’m home, it doesn’t leave my side!
This doesn’t leave my side when I’m home. It’s ginormous! I try to drink one full bottle in the morning, with True Lemon crystals in different flavors. I’m stuck on Strawberry right now. I used 1/2 to 3/4 of a packet of True Lemon Strawberry to 50 oz of water and the strawberry is light, not overpowering. The lemon and black cherry are overpowering so it’s a 1/2 packet to 50 oz. A full packet of True Lemon in any flavor can be too strong and stevia is too sweet for my taste buds. I usually chill 8-10 cups of water in my Brita in the fridge overnight so it’s a quick mix in the a.m. In the evening I go plain to flush my system and usually get about 1/2 a bottle done, more if I do cardio after dinner. I’m thinking about getting a 25 oz to carry, but I don’t want to lose it in public or drop it on the concrete and the 50 oz magnetic top with carry spout is hard to carry in public. As you can get two fingers in, but gripping the wide bottle midsection is hard for my petite arthritic hands. I wash in the dishwasher to get out any of the true lemon taste at least once a week.

Plastic bottle
It's a nice sturdy plastic bottle that's easy to carry and refill and drink from. There's not really much else you can really say about it, truly. It's a decent capacity for day to day use, fits in most gym bottle holders and is portable and neutral enough to be carried pretty much anywhere. It has a few leak problems (I think it's more water getting stuck in the threading of the bottle than actual leak problems though) sometimes after refilling but those are minor, at least from my point of view, especially if you tighten it accordingly.I don't see the point of the magnetic function though, honestly. Most of the time it barely sticks to the lid to hold it out of the way, especially if you don't take the time to smooth it down so it is flush against the magnetic surface (that's just added effort I don't care for, really) and so if you don't take the time to do that and you just want to drink, the lid will end up bonking you on the nose while you chug. It's a minor gripe and not really an issue but I figured I'd mention it considering the magnetic stuff is apparently the major gimmick of this bottle. At least you won't lose the lid since it's permanently attached, eh?Altogether though it's a good bottle, hard wearing, heavy duty, thick lid that can be tightened nicely, and the cap is also very secure and not threaded but rather tightened into place which is very good, takes a little bit of getting used to initially but once you suss it it's good, you can achieve the same cap tightness / secureness from a regular threaded cap after some dudebro tightens it as hard as he can with barely any effort on your part with the cap on this bottle and it opens with just as little effort too.I like it, anyway.

New and improved......but by how much????
I was looking for a mega bottle to store filtered water in my fridge that was leakproof and something that could stand upright in my fridge door without falling out when I opened it. Great mammoth bottle, nice wide opening for filling and it appears a new innovation of the magnetic cap that is held back when unscrewed as if by magic back whilst your pour of sip from the bottle.I am a fan of the Chute bottle and I have owned the one I have with the tether for over 6 years and it still surviving being dropped and heavy use on a daily basis. The only concern I have for this new style bottle is that Camelbak have introduced rubber seals to both the large opening and the small cap that your unscrew. I am never a fan of removable rubber seal and I have had these seals in water bottle before and eventually they become nasty and horrible, even with regular cleaning. I had read that somewhere people had experienced leaking with the old style Chute bottle, however I have two and neither have leaked without the rubber seal???? Personally if Camelbak were going to introduce a rubber seal I would have much preferred to see a permanent seal that is integrated into head of the bottle, both for hygiene and ease of cleaning. Basically a seal that is part of the bottle without any gaps. These removable seals in the bottle trap water, juice, etc which is not great. Also Camelback have removed the the rubber on the inside of the bottle holding lope and it is now just hard plastic, which could make for carrying a heavy bottle uncomfortable. To top it all off the single turn that meant you could get quick access to your drink is now replaced with a full on screw cap, I am not longer able to open this bottle single handed. Also the magnetic cap is a great idea but the hinge looks to me rather flimsy, so only time will tell on if this lasts. It is still the same solid well made bottle but the cap on the bottle sounds good in theory and certainly the magnetic part is a good idea although the cap on the tether from the previous model never bothered me like it has bothered some folk. I hate cleaning water bottles and the chute by far has always been the easiest one I have to clean, with these new rubber seals it has now become as painful as the rest. Some minor improvements but in a bid to try and solve the alleged issues Camelbak have potentially created a whole new set of issues in the process.Still on the fence with the new design but it is still one of my favourite water bottles.

Leaks
bottle leaks!!! as I found out after I lay the bottle down on my bed soaked through to the mattress not very impressive for A camelbak bottle.I'm only using it to see me through these hot nights so as long as I keep it standing up it will doUpdate make sure the plastic label on cap with camelbak written on it is sitting in the slot otherwise it will leak...it is a good bottle and doesn,t leak

Great product!
Love this bottle! Wanted a 1.5 Litre reusable bottle for work to reduce the amount of plastic I was using from buying bottled water every week. And I wanted a sizeable bottle which also fitted in the side pocket of my backpack, and though this bottle looks quite large, especially from comments by people at work, the bottle does just that (for reference this bottle is 10cm across). Very tough and sturdy and with a comfortable carry handle, had no leakage problems so far after having it about 9 months now, and the magnetic cap is spot on! It was not something I thought much about previously but glad I chose the magnetic cap option. So yeah very pleased with this purchase, and not that it's important, but received lots of positive comments from people at work with regards to the size and look of the bottle, if that's any help to anyone looking to buy one.

Fantastic leakproof bottles and last and last.
I had a few of these since their first inception and I have not yet been disappointed. My last one had the old style cap retainer which finally broke one one side after years of use, so I decided to get a bigger version, 1ltr, for work (the old one is still in use )I love the new MagSafe storage, it’s much easier than the old style of tether, and yes I’m sure there are those that will find something they don’t like. These bottles are really strong, I have never had one leak at all, as long as you close them properly! What’s not to like, they’re strong, leak proof, you get a choice of colours and sizes, they’re washable, constantly reusable so they reduce practice usage, they can be sterilised (unlike steel ) and it’s backed by Camelbaks warranty.Highly recommended from me, my whole family use them.
