Not what I was looking for
I should have paid more attention to the size of the lamp. It is quite small and it would not fit on any lamp to which I took the shade off and tried to put this shade on. I would have had to buy an extension. So I decided to buy a little larger lamp shade with stand and I am glad I did as the stand is sturdy enough to support the shade I ended up buying and to which I gave a review. This lamp is just too small for what I wanted it for.
