Right handed!!
Nicely made and good to know that it's made in USA. But, isn't working for me because I'm a lefty and the tip of the spurtle is angled wrong way. If it was straight it would have been better. Would have returned it but I used it. My loss. Guess I will pass it on to a righty.

Well designed kitchen tool.
This is a little expensive but extremely well made and designed. It is curved slightly so it fights in the curves of a skillet or saucepan and that helps move the food around. Honestly, I think this thing will last forever. I hand wash it and it cleans up nicely. Don’t leave it soaking in water. This would make a great gift so a home chef.

Very useful kitchen tool
I have arthritis in my hands which makes it difficult to mix stiffer batters. Plastic spoons break and the thin round handles on traditional wooden spoons are hard for me to hold. With the spurtle I was able to mix more easily and it's comfortable to hold. I also like that it's perfectly safe to use with nonstick cookware.

Very good quality product
This is a solid wood product, one I would not put in a dishwasher but always handwash. It is well made and should last for many years. It is easy to grip and long enough to use easily in large pans, angled well. It is one of the utensils in the most used pile. I first saw Rachel Ray using one all the time recently and then noticed it on other cooking shows too. And its nothing new, its Scottish history goes back centuries.

Far superior product
Loved the strength of this Spurtle and the thickness of the wood. It doesn't warp and the color remains the same-no fading or discoloring and I have used it for about a month. I also gave to my daughters as gifts because quality utensils, made in the USA are hard to find.

Beautiful but will break if tested.
I’ve wanted one of these for a while now and was very pleased with the Made In The USA item. However, my husband decided to use it to scrape cake batter while the mixer was turned on and the spurttle chipped into the batter. I’ve ordered a new one and I’m hoping with a little more care this one last longer.
