Just received these I ordered two, they arrived very fast. I tested these lights on a regular household 9v battery and they all worked no burnt out lights like some reviews say, and they are very bright. I will be installing these on my boat and have not yet done so but I will be using acetone on the surface before applying these and the 3m tape should hold, however I will update this review if they do not. These lights do come with plug ins for a 12v adapter plug if your plugging these into your house keep in mind you will need the adapter these are made to hook up strait to a battery hence 12v, so when you get them don't write a bad review like you were caught off guard. So far everything is as advertised and at this price it's a great deal!

Great lights! Used to create underglow on my Saturn, wired it all myself. The tape is awesome and after going through a couple car washes I can say they are living up to their waterproof standard. The only complaint I have is how hard it is to solder new wires onto these strips.

3M on mine seemed to be very sticky but mounted them hanging and the wire end tended to pull loose just added some silicone and problem so far is fixed. One package was not complete but I was not using the DC power converted so I did not need it. Mounted mine on the side of my boat lighting up the water it draws bait fish without a lot of bugs. Also enough light to see my lines in the water now my boat is so BA I carry a tennis racket to knock the small fish back in the water since they all want to go home with me lol.

i bought this for my atv. i bought 2 different colors. after installing today im not to happy. Not only did the adhesive backing peal off onto the tape (didn't stick to the light strip in i would say 75% of the roll) when i wrapped it around a 90 degree corner the waterproof insulation split on the led's exposing the bare led thus not making them waterproof at all anymore. so after the green did all that i decided to try the blue (thinking it was just a bad strip) NOPE both rolls did the same thing!!

I'm giving it a 2 star because it arrived packaged well and was what I purchased. Other than that, pretty much 1/3 of the strip didn't even work at all as soon as I plugged it in and the rest died out in about 3 trips of light boating. A good thing is that the adhesive backing is so crappy that it will fall off as soon as you put it on, which is good since you will be taking it right back off when they don't work. Maybe I just got a bad pack

Cant believe you get over 16' for the sale price! Outstanding price and value. Easy to cut into lengths to meet your needs. I used two 6" strips to back light my trucks shift position indicators. The back light was only available with the replacement of the complete shift assembly at a cost of almost $300.00. These strips replaced the faulty membrane and power supply and runs of the cars 12 VDC power.

Naked wire difficult to attach to plug. Sometimes shorts out.

Easy to use. Love the product. No dead leds. 3m sticky adhesive on back made this product even better, it stuck in place and hasn't moved even at 99mph. Will buy again
