The ScanJig does include two clips that can be placed along the outer edge of the document bed to hold sheets that are creased, and as a result, might bend. **Q: Is the distance between the phone and document adjustable? I'd like to be able to scan smaller documents too...** A: Yes, your phone can be placed in four positions to adjust the distance to the document. **Q: I specifically ordered Scanjig to take good clear photos of A4 documents with an iPAD. Unfortunately doesn't seem big enough. What am I doing wrong?** A: The ScanJig is used to scan A4 documents (about letter US sized) . When using an iPad, the tablet will sit significantly left of center on the device holder shelf. A couple of things to check - when you open the cover and rotate it away from you make sure it is leaning all the way back (the actual position is 122 degrees). Second, make sure the wire support arm behind the device holder is completely vertical. Also, iPad model 3 and newer are recommended as they have better cameras. Set-up instructions can be found at www.scanjig.com/instructions. **Q: Can this jig be used for us legal sized paper? or is that image too tall?** A: I was not able to scan a legal size document with the ScannerPro app on an iPhone. I was able to use the jig and take a photo of a legal-size document. Also tried Adobe Scan and my iPad, that did not work either.
