Great Album

Sad Happy is the fast return after less than a year touring and just hot off of the third album. The band this time goes from more alternative and indie beats to a more dynamic pop album that feels in the same vein as Two Door Cinema Club’ second album Beacon. Kieran Shudall vocals are pretty on match with that type of music. The album production is very strong, with tracks featuring a number of resonant bassline accompanied with slick synths, wavy guitar riffs interlaced with pop beats.The latest volume is split into two smaller distinctions – Happy, released in January 2020, and Sad, closing the album on March 13th. With that comes an album with split contradictions; delving in open and clear statements about people expect you to behave normally when you’re not and it’s perfectly acceptable to be Sad and Happy. Each are dependent on each other and you cannot have one without the other.
