Great suction
I bought it to use in the shop to suck electrolytes out of batteries and add additives, then top them back off. Worked great!! Measurement on sides seen pretty accurate. Great versatile tool! No leaks, made of quality materials and a great value.

Does the job!
I got this to aspirate water on my plant dishes and distribute to other plant pebble trays nearby. It does the job well and holds suction. The size is large enough for using with plants. The only thing is you can’t squeeze the balloon too hard or water will squirt out from it, but that may be the case for these baster things in general. Overall, I’m happy with it and would buy again.

This is usually a good brand that is always available in grocery stores, However, the unit I got does not fit too well together.And I don't anticipate that it's going to work very well.. I think I could have got a better one for a cheaper price at the store. I would not recommend this item

Well Constructed and Easy to Clean
I use this every week as a faux wine thief tool for sampling fermenting kombucha to test the flavor. It also finds use when I need to get something small out of a sauce or gravy. You could baste meat or vegetables with it too I guess.

OTHER brands might suck and not break, or break and not suck, or maybe they break and suck, but -- you can't put the dang thing back together again.This thing sucks, and it breaks. And it's perfect because I can put it all back together again EASILY after cleaning it.

Good for other than basting
Our family stopped using paper towel to soak up the grease in the pan. Now, I use the baster and it works fast and mess free without paper towel waste.

Poor quality. Doesn't hold negative pressue
Draws liquid in well but the seal at the bulb is of poor quality and as a result, liquid doesn't stay in the plastic pipette. Dribbles and leaks everywhere.
