Great for Projects and My Therapy Practice
I cannot imagine NOT having this for the projector. It is very interesting to set up, but once you get the point (make sure the table has about a 1 inch ledge you can attach to or it will not work!) you can adjust it down and use quite well. I use this for a therapy practice I have. Kids love it and so do adults. Now with this said, just bare in mind that you do have to turn off lights to use your projector, but this stand allows you to use a table surface and sit and draw. You do have to be careful to not move things, so lines stay in place. I have had this item for about a yr or so and have not had any problems what so ever!! It was worth every penny! Like I said, why would you not have it? It does require a different lense, so be sure to get that, others mentioned this in their review. I also have one set up for projecting on the wall, and so far to be honest have not used it, it has been rolled on it's stand to the closet in our office. I will eventually end up getting another table/desk with the inch ledge and set that projector up as I have this one.I cannot undestand why this is described as a "Toy", in fact it is great for professional paint artists who would rather sit than stand, and great for persons with disabilities, and for private practice therapy activities.Great item!!

The stand was good. However it did not fit the Artograph projector I have so I had to modify it to make it work.

Artograph Prism Stand
Works great and is easy to use. To be really effective the support needs to be longer. We have to put it up on an extended easel to get it far away enough to make the picture large enough for a 20 x 24" canvas. Other than that it is a fine product.

If you own an Artograph, you need this projector
I've owned an Artograph projector for about four years, but have never been able to successfully use it because I've never been able to figure out how to attach a canvas to a wall so I could project onto it. I.e., the limitation was having to use the projector horizontally. For the record, I don't draw very well, but I love to paint. But just projecting one picture onto a canvas is not the only purpose of the Artograph. I love being able to take different elements from different photographs to create an original painting. In other words, I can take an old barn from one photograph and insert it into a field or beside a river in another photograph to get a nicely composed original painting. With this stand, I can now project vertically, i.e., down onto my canvas which makes it much easier to draw (or "trace," if you prefer) the various elements of a painting. YAY!

Won't angle for a better view and/or to minimize shadow from your head/hand
Only attaches to solid lip edged tables. Won't adjust properly to folding tables, glass tables and/or scalloped tables. Table also has to be square, not round. Won't angle for a better view and/or to minimize shadow from your head/hand. Only good for straight up and down focus and only attaches to a basic square wooden table with a 2" lip max and lip. Even tried adding pieces of wood to extend the lip. Worked but less secure than what you want for something suspending a projector over your head.

Good product/Payment methods faulty
I had ordered this thinking it was a table, not paying attention, so had to return for the correct tablr I needed. I am new at ordering at Amazon and my refund was applied as a gift card, and not returned to my Amazon credit card. I do not care for this system but I am stuck, along with the return fees.. Be sure you mark your orders if you don't want this to happen. I had planned to use my refund for something else Amazon can't seem to provide, which would have been a Prime membership. so I was unhappy about this. The refund sits there now till I find something I need from themBe sure and read all the fine print.

Works great if you need the projector to shoot down to a work service
Wife does art tracing on a work top. This is a perfect match for the Artograph Super Prism projector she has. She is very happy with it's flawless function. Well made, quite sturdy. Expect it last and last.
