Good Robust Product, very responsive customer service.
Bought this to hold DeWalt full-sized A/C electric reciprocating saws (I have a couple of them to tote around) for demo work that I do. It does appear (based on measurements that I made upon delivery) that it is about 21 inches, as listed. Size is perfect for my needs. Materials and construction appear to be quite robust. I also had the problem (as I saw another individual listed) that there was no shoulder strap included with this unit (although it's listed by the seller, as well as Makita's website). I called the seller to discuss. I was told that they'd get one such strap out to me by mail. (They're based in the same state as where I live, only about a half-hour south of me). I was quite surprised to find the strap in my mailbox the very next day (less than 24 hrs from my call to them). Overall initial delivery timing was good (I don't use the Prime accelerated delivery system), and delivery of the missing piece was also obviously good. And, as stated above, I further believe that the quality of the product itself is good as well.

Carpenter here
I bought 2 at 20$ each. I don't use Makita but I love this bag. The handle is padded and will age well the zipper works (even with concrete powder covering it). These are a larger version of the free bags they give u when u buy sets. EXCEPT the zipper perimeter is lined with steal cable, which come to a point on the width side and will hold things like your square in place, very firmly. In one bag I have my millwaukee 7 1/4 rear handle, multi tool, impact, drill, bit box, sander, grinder and fast charger. The second has all my hand tools that aren't in my bags. I'm going to buy 2 more to be electrical and plumbing bags. For a total of 4! I just wish they were millwaukee and not makita..

Good quality bag and zipper.
Great quality tool bag with good zipper as well. This holds my cordless sawzall, charger, several batteries and blades with room to spare.

Stout And Roomy, With A Balky Zipper
Very durable, heavyweight Cordura nylon construction. A ton of room inside after you open its cavernous, gate mouth. The huge zipper glides until you try to re-open it around the curve of the bag's side. (Don't close it all the way, or you may rip it off its track trying to get it to move.) Had Bill Clinton's fly been this difficult to open, Al Gore would have been elected in a landslide... ***1/26/2015: After one year of hard use on construction jobsites and being tossed around the back of my truck, this tool bag has begun to show signs of wear at the corners. Some of the black nylon fabric has frayed from abrasion, exposing the plastic wire reinforcements. There are no holes yet, and the zipper still works ok, but I expected a more durable fabric, like that used in backpacks and luggage... I have downgraded my opinion of this product to a 3 star rating.

Great size for carrying my most important impact gear
This 20" bag is big enough to hold my double charger, spare batteries, subcompact impact driver, various bits and sockets, etc. but small enough to not be clumsy or take up an excessive amount of room. Wouldn't want it any bigger or I'd be tempted to throw other LXT tools in as well, which would obviously make it heavier and more difficult to find what I need from the bag. Any smaller and it would be too cramped to fit everything I want to keep together. Perfect bag as far as I"m concerned. Probably could have found something for less money that was just as good, but I wanted the Makita blue to match the tools and to easily keep it separate from my other stuff (e.g. my 1/2" Ridgid impact wrench, etc.). Would buy again without hesitation.

Very good quality tool bag that will last you a long time
Good quality bag. Used this for a couple years and then gifted it to a fellow technician as a goodbye exchange. Although the gears on makita powertools are less durable than my grandmothers knees, I will say this is a great quality bag. Fits everything you’ll need plus more and doesn’t rip.

Its in the bag...
I have a couple of these tool bags that I use for keeping related tools and supplies together. They work well, are reasonably large, and have held up very well so far. I generally prefer hard cases, but these are a good choice for awkwardly-shaped tools or tools with lots of additional bits that would otherwise not fit in a normal case. These seem to be relatively weather proof, though I wouldn't recommend pushing your luck with regards to leaving them out in the rain. No issues with bag construction, materials, zippers, etc. Everything works as you would expect.

My grab and go bag.
Perfect sized bag for a couple of my larger Makita hand tools. Nailer, Sawzall, etc. I have a bag for each of my Makita hand tools. Just grab and go. Nice quality bags.

Product quality
I purchased the Makita tool bag for work like the large compartments inside and the color and quality of the material only trouble I had was the tool bag shoulder strap seem like it was removed from the bag so I texted the distributor and let them know that the shoulder strap wasn't included or missing and if they could send me another one they said they would thanks
