Case for Surface Pro 1st/ Surface Pro 2 - SHEROX Premium Folio Case Cover with Stand for Microsoft Surface Pro 1st/ Surface Pro 2, Purple

Fits my Surface Pro 2 perfectly. DO NOT FORCE IT THROUGH THE FRONT as some other reviewers did, all you have to do is unstrap the velcro and slip it through the slide easily, and then re-secure the velcro to snuggly hold the tablet. You do not need to stretch and tare the leather as some other people said they had to, the velcro is there for a reason! Good quality for the price, doesn't look cheap.

Notice on the first picture how the screen is almost vertical? That's the ONLY option you have to supporting the screen. I was expecting various levels of tilt but it doesn't give you that. If it allowed the screen to go back 45 degrees then it would be OK. But it's unusable in the current configuration. I wanted to return it, but with Amazon charging $8.53 for UPS I would only get $2 and change back. Better to use that as a Verified Purchaser and warn others to stay away from this product. I would recommend Surface Pro 2 Case, ProCase Premium Folio Case with Stand for Microsoft Surface PRO 2 / Surface PRO Windows 8 Tablet, Compatible with Microsoft Keyboard, Built-in Stand with Multiple viewing Angles (Brown/Black) as a better purchase.

The tablet fits WELL. Like a glove. I can and do plug in the power plug with ease. Not sure why others claim to have issues with fit and charging port. I have the Surface Pro original. I also have the power keyboard (thicker) but it fits well also. It is a nice design, but keep in mind, we are wrapping the Surface in a case and if I do anything with graphics, minecraft, roblox, Netflix, etc. it heats up quickly and shuts down. If I use these apps outside of the case, the Surface Pro runs them fine. It gets hot, but the fan is able to cool it down using the rest of the surface back to radiate heat as well. This case stops that process. Not sure how they would address that issue anyhow. Using it for mail, web browsing and other non-graphic intensive apps it works fine in the case. I bought this case because the back stand broke on my Surface Pro. I found NO OTHER cases that would work for mine. So this solves it for non-graphics apps.

Pros:This case is nice because my kickstand broke so it allows me to still use my surface. It also has an elastic holder for my pen to keep everything in one placeCons: the angle or the size of the hole for the charger makes it very hard to plug in, and causes it to not have its full magnetic grip so will come undone easily. The stand also only has one holder for it to stand, which I think makes it stand too upright. But If you knew some basic sewing you could probably change that.The case overall fits fairly well, I wish it was tighter because mine still moves around in it too much for my taste but it gets the job done.

There are couple of small gaps compared to my original, worn out case. The description said it compatible with the first version of Surface Pro, however it's not a perfect fit.If you don't mind the small gap, then its may be a great case. I say 'maybe' because my original case has lasted since 2013. This case seems thinner, so it may not last as long.

Originally, I couldn't get it to stand then I realized what the little clip is for in the back. That is so cheaply made, it won't last a month. This is my kid's laptop. But, since these are so hard to find now, it will last until I find something better.

While I consider myself lucky to have found a case that is compatible with the 1st generation surface, the fit is not great. There is around 4mm of gap between the end of the case and where the surface fits inside. It's just barely acceptable but considering how old the device is, a much better case will not be easy to find.

Doesn't not fit Pro 1st generation at all
