I purchased these rods in part because they were shown stuck in the grass and appeared to have a pointed end. Not so, and I had the same problem when I tried. I chalked it up to a lesson learned and use them for ground alignment chores. **Q: Is this a total of 2 or 4 sticks.** A: This listing is for a total of 2 alignment rods **Q: Do these have a sharp end to stick in the ground? Rubber tips on both ends for both rods. The orange finish is nice too. Comes with a plastic tube case. They do not have sharp edges so you won’t be able to stick in the ground. Other than that, everything is okay.
