If you do get a fishy taste due to a preexisting medical problem of food coming back up when lying down, just gargle with mouthwash and swallow an antacid tablet, or take the krill oil pill in the morning. Schiff is an established brand, so I will take their word for it that their brand is better than other brands. But then again, what else would you expect them to say to sell their pills? Notes: Contains Sulfite preservatives, which can cause breathing problems for people with serious asthma. The polyalcohol sugar sorbitol is currently the sweetener in most "sugar-free" products. It is poorly absorbed by the small intestine and may produce diarrhea if ingested in large amounts (20-50 g). This product does not mention the amount of Sorbitol, but it has not affected me. EVEN THOUGH THE SIZE SEEMS LARGE, IT IS EASY TO SWALLOW. I WAS AMAZED THAT I COULD EVEN TAKE IT WITH OTHER PILLS WITH NO PROBLEMS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SIZE (1000 MG) AND PRODUCT IF YOU NEED THE LARGER DOSAGE, NO AFTER TASTE OR NEGATIVE REACTIONS.
