First, position the patch where you want to place and the side with melt adhesive should close to your cloth or other textiles. Pre-heat your iron, iron the right side of patch for 10 - 20 seconds to fix it; Also can fix the patch by sewing it in case of moving. 2. Then turn over your cloth or other textiles, iron the back side of patch for 30 - 60 seconds to ensure that the adhesive has melted and the patch has firmly fixed on your cloth or other textiles. 3. Finally, iron the right side again for 1 - 2 minutes, especially the edge and corner, so as to make a smooth surface. Warm notice: Cloth or other textiles should be dry, no need to wet the patch or cloth when ironing. The patch which was ironed on cloth can last for a long time. If it falls off a period of time later or after washing, that means the ironing temperature is on the low side or ironing time is too short. You can paste the patch again with the above same steps.

They work great!
These work great, went on easy, and so far have stayed in place, even on my knee. The only thing is that they look very much like a patch, or as my daughter says, Jean band-aids. I tried to trim them some to look less rigid, and superimposed one over/next to the other to make it less blocky. Most of the Jean patches available are like this, so not much to be done about it. I think they work great, and I still have my beloved jeans!!

Worked for Me
I used this on the INSIDE of a few torn pairs of pants. 'worked to mend them, but I did notice the glue/dye easily smeared, so be extremely careful if applying this on TOP of a garment. Follow the directions and make sure you use a disposable piece of cloth/fabric/paper to protect your iron.

No instructions, didn’t work
These came with no instructions and did not adhere well to my fabric pants. It only adhered at the very edges - so the edge that I cut did not adhere at all.Perhaps I’m missing some instructions but I wouldn’t know because none were included.
