It works well as my topcoat, is shiny so can be used after fresh polish is applied or to refresh after a few days. I can brush it on and go almost instantly. I do not have chipped nail polish after I use this. It is also very reasonable priced and lasts well.

This base/top coat is wonderful in shine and keeps mani a long time BUT even though it may feel dry it’s, not for a long time post manicure. Sheet marks galore hours after that affect the great shine. Use it ear.y in the day!

I decided on day to actually learn what you are supposed to do with your nails correctly and decided to not just buy stuff from the dollar store anymore. That lead me down a deep rabbit hole about which products where best, the types of nail polish, undercoats, top-coats, gels, hardeners and AHHHhhhh! Suffice it to say I am more familiar and comfortable building a fire in my wood stove or fixing things around the house.I am also... kinda of cheap because I have brilliant children who will want to go to college someday and other things I am always saving up for.So, with all of that in mind I started the journey towards finding high quality but not too expensive clear coats. This was one of the 3 I bought and I am absolutely impressed! It lasts for weeks. I am pretty rough on my nails but this stuff just lasted and continued being shiny, smooth and keeping my nails happy.One thing I did notice which is probably just because I have never used anything like this before was that instead of breaking off in one big break like my nails normally do, with this on they flaked in layers or broke in smaller ways just at the tips. It didn't seem like it caused any negative issues because nails will always break eventually, but that was a change in how they reacted I noticed.So for the price and what it is the quality is there. It isn't too thick which is nice, and it dries quickly. Can't ask for much more for a basic hardener/clear coat.

The particular Sally Hansen Nail Hardeners really works!. My nails are stronger and started growing right away. The hardener goes on smooth and slightly thick, which I love. It dries pretty fast and has a glasslike finish that’s shiny and beautiful. I’m happy with my purchase.
