Works goods
Seems to work good. I wasn’t sure if I needed it. Once I got everything set up and working I unplugged it and I didn’t get any satellite signal.

Not a bad idea to have a spare around either if you ...
Exactly what I needed. Family member moved and there was already a dish setup at their new location for their existing setup but it wasnt working right. When I went and looked, I could see there was only 1 line coming off the LNB to the house and I didnt see a PI anywhere inside the house. This came in fast (paid extra for the 1 day shipping) and worked perfectly for what I needed. Not a bad idea to have a spare around either if you have a SWM LNB. My setup I have a SWM16 so it uses a different PI. Also keep in mind there is a new lnb that supports up to 21 tuners (3D2LNB). Since I seem to have to replace my SWM16 switch about once a year, I am considering moving to the new lnb the next time this occurs (my setup has 15 tuners so I need something big to support all the DVRs in the house).

Needed for SWM LNB
Switched dishes to a newer SWM model. I needed this to power the LNB. Woudn't work without it. Didn't need additional hardware or switch for my single receiver.

Why do you ask me to rate a product the day after I received it?
Why do you ask me to rate a product the day after I received it? Ask me in six months after I've had a chance to assess its reliability. If you are going to do it this way then I'm going to rate the product as mediocre. It could be good, it could be bad. No way to know at this point. I will say at this point that it arrived promptly and works so far.
