Effective enough for spring time flies.
I apply twice a week for my dogs ears, and it seems to be working fairly well. No bite sores on his ears so far in 2 weeks use. He doesn't seem to mind the application, especially when treats are nearby. The smell is actually pleasant, I enjoy it. It's kind of woody and floral. My dog doesn't mind the smell either. The roller ball doesn't work at all haha. I actually roll the ball onto my hand and squeeze the product out into my palm so I can apply it on my dog. I don't mind doing this because before this product, I was using PINE TAR on my dog's ears, and that stuff is nearly impossible to get off your hands. This washes off easily.I will be repurchasing. We'll see if I need to increase the application for summertime flies.

Works great on our horse!
I don't like to put a fly mask on the horse daily (as it is very humid and hot in Florida). However, there are still plenty of flies around. I put this on our horse daily and it works to keep off the flies. Although all these products state they last for several days the reality is they do not. However, they do at least last for a day!

Helped my head shaking horse
We have one horse that doesn't like masks when riding, but he shakes his head from the gnats. Decided to try this and it helps! Now I stuff it in my saddle bag for reapplication when needed.

Horrible roller - decent fly product
The roller on this absolutely sucks. It doesn't roll or work at all. I end up having to shake the bottle and squeezing it VERY hard while pressing into my hand so I can dispense some of it, then use my hand to slather it all on the horses face and ears. Annoying. I'd rather just have an actual squeeze tube. But the actual gel fly repellent inside works pretty well and doesn't seem to run when my horse buddy sweats, so safe above the eyes. Significantly less head tossing/shaking during my rides in the summer. Seems comparable to SWAT but easier to spread due to being a gel, and less sticky/greasy feeling. I can't comment on if it actually lasts 7 days as I don't own my own horse. I just use this for my weekly lesson rides and one-off lease rides. I pair this with their spray version for the body and can visibly see the flies and gnats vacate the area when I apply it. Also smells pretty pleasant compared to some products that make me feel like I'm gassing us all in the barn with something noxious. So, good product, horrible container/delivery mechanism. Make this come in a squeeze tube, in a larger size, and it'd be perfect.

Great for faces
I have two young colts so putting on fly spray is like wrestling with a half ton toddler. This roller is a game changer for around the face. Works great and very convenient.

Roller ball too hard!
Do not bother with this. I was excited about this product but it ended up not even working right. The roller ball stays dry and will not roll. You have to squeeze the bottle to release the product and even then you’re still not able to roll this around on your horse without hurting their face by pushing down super hard. No matter how many squeezes to dispense the product it still wasn’t letting the roller work. Save your money. I use hair spray container of ENDURE which goes on and seems to even last longer on my horse than the regular spray bottle.

Effective Product/Roller ball won't roll
I have used this product before and found it effective on my horse. The bottle I received is a disappointment as the roller ball won't move. I can move it with my finger to get it wet but it stays stuck unless you manually push it. It is frustrating so I finally have given up. If you happen to get a bottle that the roller ball moves, it is a good product. I have found it helpful in the past at shows when your horse cannot wear a fly bonnet, or if you have a horse you are riding at home that doesn't care for a fly bonnet.
