Easy to install and works like a charm
I’m hearing impaired and rely on earphones to listen to the TV. The single outlet for our external speakers was already being used. But this device easily split the signal to our speakers and my earphones. No static or delay. Very handy item for splitting optical signals.

Great if you need 2-3 optical inputs and you can live with PCM stereo
I have a Samsung OLED (90C) that does actually have an analog audio output (3.5mm) but it is very noisy, producing lots of squelching from EM interference. This tv also has optical audio output and can even use USB DACs. I had settled on using a Schiit DAC to send audio from the TV to my soundbar, but periodically the tv wouldn't detect the DAC and would then switch back to internal speakers, which was frustrating. Other times, it would send a horrifying, loud screech to the DAC which was then passed to the soundbar. I couldn't use the optical output for my soundbar because that was going to my Sennheiser wireless tv headphones (TR185, which are awesome). However, optical still seemed to be the best output option on this tv in terms of reliability and signal quality. I guess there's also eARC, which in my experience is endlessly flaky, and I needed all my HDMI ports for other things. All of that is to say, this little box solved my issues. I power it from the usb port on the TV, and it splits the tv's optical output to the Sennhesier headphones and my soundbar. I can use both simultaneously if I want, sound quality is great, and everything stays in sync. Of course, this box won't help anyone wanting HDMI audio for Atmos or other cutting edge surround formats, but I'm limited to stereo through the headphones or soundbar, which I use for space-saving reasons, so in my case it's perfect. I tuck it back behind a shelf and its out of sight, out of mind. My only gripe is that it has no visible indicator that it's working; no LED or anything. But if you are getting sound, that means it's working. We'll see if it is made to last!

Solved Audio Problem!
This splitter works great to send one optical signal to two devices simultaneously. Signal source is my TV audio Out. One splitter output goes to my hearing aid TV connector and the second to my Denon receiver optical Audio In. The Denon not a simple setup (because of Denon, not this device) although it is worth the work to split the audio from HDMI in the Denon.Result is I’m able to get audio boost (with independent volume control at the TV connector and hearing aids) to my hearing aids simultaneously with normal audio from speakers, or mute the speakers and just get audio into hearing aids.No complaints here about USB cables or power interfaces.

Splitter good, cable bad
The splitter seems to work OK (I've had it only a few days), but the cable that came with it won't snap into the device or my TV. I didn't realize it at first (the documentation says nothing about it), but the cable has silicone protectors over the end sensors. They were difficult to get off, but when I finally did, the cable still wouldn't snap in. I had a different cable, so I was able to get it to work.

Great Splitter
I needed an optical splitter to connect my television to a sound box and a Bluetooth headphone. The connections were easy to set up and upon doing so the splitter worked faultlessly.

Works fine, here's a couple of points to know
Works fine, good price. A couple of points that might not be obvious:1) the input is a normal toslink jack, the cable is not hardwired to the unit.2) the power supply is not included so you will need a USB charger supply (cable is included)

Waste of money
Quality of audio is inconsistant and choppy. Try other cables, can't use this product.
