Amazon Basics Lightweight On-Ear Headphones - White

I got these headphones almost a week ago and so far I am happy with them. They're plasticky built, which is to be expected for their price. However the ear pads are soft and comfortable. These headphones won't stick out in a crowd and don't look especially eye-catching, but that wasn't the reason I got mine so I am okay with that. They won't slip off your head during casual listening sessions thanks to their tight fit.They won't be the most stable under strenuous conditions,though,such as strenuous exercise at the gym, but you should be able to jog with them. When it come to sound the're just okay. I am not a very technical person, but I would say they are just like any average sounding pair of headphones.They only provide partial noise isolation through the quality of the seal the ear cups can create on your ears and they're a bit leaky at higher volumes ( which I do not recommend anyway. Remember that can damage your ears! ). However, It shouldn't be enough to distract anyone around you, unless you're in a very quiet setting. They come with a fabric pouch that will protect the headphones from minor scratches and dust. Like the name says they are just plain BASIC.

I bought these purely because I saw a decent review and they were dirt cheap, but I'm honestly blown away by the sound quality. The only headphones I have to compare these to are my Apple headphones, so it isn't really a fair comparison (over ear vs in ear). These things are crazy comfy and not hideous, so add that to solid sound and you have a nice pair of headphones. I love the 90 degree headphone jack - something I didn't think I'd ever care about, but it's really nice when listening via a laptop. The plastic is a little cheap feeling, but they've been in my backpack for a long time now and haven't broke. I'll count that as a win.

I wear a 7.5-size hat. So, large-ish head, but certainly not freakishly so. Squeezes my ears like they're in a vice - very uncomfortable. When the head band is extended to fit a larger head, the ear pieces actually touch each other. How is a whole head supposed to fit in there?You know the scene in the third Harry Potter movie ("Prisoner of Azkaban") when the Knight Bus squeezes to fit between two London buses and the shrunken head says "Why the long faces?" These headphones might fit either the shrunken head or the Knight Bus passengers during the squeeze.The sound is fine for the price.

I love these little headphones!I'll be blunt: these are not "audiophile" headphones. The sound quality is very good, but I am sure that if you are looking for something that perfectly and clearly captures each musical note in a song, these probably aren't for you.But that doesn't mean that these headphones are garbage. In fact, far from it. I purchased these headphones to replace a pair of skullcandy headphones I had been using at work. While typing notes and doing computer work, I like listening to background music to help me keep my focus.I found that Amazon's headphones were actually clearer and seemed (to me at least) to be much better quality sound than even my skullcandy headphones were!On top of that, each earcup swivels sideways, cutting the width profile of the headphones down and making them easier to store later. The headphones come with a nice fabric bag to protect them and the cord is at least four feet in length. I am very satisfied with this product and if God forbid my headphones break or I need to ever purchase another pair, I will certainly be purchasing another pair of these.

I purchased these headphones for my toddler and the fit was perfect. The ear piece is soft and the adjustable head piece is easy to expand and retract. I used these on a recent flight and I was amazed at the amount of noise cancellation they offered. While is does not cancel noise 100%, I would say for me it was about 70%. When traveling on a plane, I do not like the plane engine noise and these headphones were very helpful and made my flight less noisy. These were originally purchased for my toddler but they worked for me as well. Not bad for headphones that were under $20.

I have amazon iphone charger and it has lasted me almost 7 months and works very well. So that was why I decided to buy these over ear headphones as my first headphone purchase. Honestly, these are so uncomfortable. I am 22 year old female with a pretty small head but I do have bigger ears. If you have big ears these get uncomfortable after 30 mins. Which is absolutely horrible. It also just feels like such cheap plastic. I guess you can get is as a quick fix if you need headphones but amazon has really let me down on this product. I don't recommend you buy this for extended use. The volume is fine but it gets so uncomfortable you don't even want to wear it. Very disappointed with this product.

Exactly what you would expect from headphones this cheap. I bought these after using the basic earbuds that come with iPhones/iPods for years. I got daith piercings, so I needed something that didn't go into my ear. I'm disappointed, but not surprised, by these headphones. If you accidentally touch the jack while music is playing, it stops. I have to physically unplug the headphones, then plug them back in, or else the music won't play. This happened while using my old iPod nano, but I tested it on two different laptops, three iPhones, and my sisters iPod. Same results every time, so it's not just my iPod (which is primarily what I use the headphones for). The material on the ear pieces makes my ears sweat? I can honestly say I didn't know ears could sweat before wearing these headphones. For my purposes they're fine, but I'll probably need to replace them with something better in 6-8 months. I will definitely be buying higher quality/more expensive headphones next time. This is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for!"

Exactly what you would expect from a set of headphones at this price point. Average sound, moderately comfortable for short spells, feel quite flimsy. Can't endorse them really heartily, but given the price, it's hard to be too critical. A resounding 'meh'.

As with most things price plays a part in expectation, but given the very reasonable price of these headphones the performance is surprisingly good, with good bass. I little tight on my head for me but great for my teenage son.

For the price the quality of the sound and headphones are amazing.with the one-year free replacement, we don't need to think twice before going for this.It gives a crystal clear sound with a decent bass.It's not bass boosted, It's a perfect mix of all.by the way, its made in China.

Totally blown away by these for the price. I wanted something cheap and cheerful to use with the Sony VR headset, and these fit over it perfectly and in white are also a perfect cosmetic match. Sound quality is really great for the price. Very happy with them.

Not great sound out of this and they are rather cheaply made. I give it four stars though mainly based on comfort and price.
