I bought this generator for the same reason so many others did - just in case. So far 'just in case' hasn't really happened, sure we've had a few brown outs but I have a UPS protecting my house so for the few seconds every now and then that we have lost mains power the UPS has taken over. I own and run my own internet based company from home (website and email hosting) so a loss of service for anything longer than 1 hour means I need diesel power to take up the slack. Fortunately this hasn't been the case so I can't really give a review of the generator under full load.I can however tell you that when I unpacked it and filled the tank with diesel, and the crankcase with the correct grade oil, the generator fired straight into life. Sure it is noisy (it's a diesel, they all are) and there was a little bit of 'Assembly Oil Smoke' but after a few seconds the smoke was gone and the generator idled at a rock steady RPM for the next 30 minutes. Happy that the generator was 'run in' the next day I used it to power my 2KW lawn mower, which again it did with no drama or issues.Every month since then I have started the generator as per my own recommendations and there have been no issues. The supplied battery stays strong and starts the generator within a second or two of turning the key. I do this by first attaching a 1KW heater as a test load because diesels run better with a load attached, rather than just free-running, for 15 minutes. At which point I switch it off and check for leaks and other possible issues but, so far, there have been none.I am very happy to recommend the generator I received because it has worked great, and if the rest of them are just has well made then I am happy to recommend them also.As a PS. I didn't need to bleed the fuel lines in mine as it had already been done so not sure if mine was a fully tested one at the factory, or a customer return that had been checked over and repaired. Either way I am more than happy with it . . . . . So far.

would like warn anyone buying this product do not I purchased it in August last year and deait has stopped working .I had it checked out by a engineer and he said its gobbed there is no electrical activity even though the battery is fully charged and still relatively new.Its supposed to be silent that couldn't be further from the truth its so loud and has rattled so much the casing that has the air filter in has sheared off.I am now going to have to replace it and am left fuming and upset this was a waste of hard earned money.

Excellent product for the price and the customer service from the seller was excellent, delivery was prompt a really meaty piece of kit ,
