Nolzurs Marvelous Miniatures Wizkids - D&D Male Goliath Barbarian - WZK73833

The quality of these miniatures is pretty mid level. The detail is mediocre, flashing and molding scars are pretty prevalent and the glued parts require significant touch up. BUT...they are really, really cheap.This is exactly why they are PERFECT for practicing your painting techniques. Whether you are learning to blend, layer, glaze, drybrush, wet blend, customizing, etc. these miniatures are a perfect training ground to perfect your technique without forking out 10x the dough on higher quality miniatures.For example - the minis I got in this shipment had no ears and had a massive indent on the forehead. That forced me to figure out how I can make that work - for a little over $4. Excellent training ground.

As with most Wizkids products the quality of this two pack set of miniatures is excellent. The details on the miniature are very good and even with my not-great painting skills it is easy to paint as you wish.You'll notice in the photo that the miniature has been modified a bit. The axe that is part of the miniature is awesome but for this particular character he needed to be wielding a maul so I removed the axe and molded the maul out of a tooth pick and some airdry putty. I also added a spiked chain on his hip using florist wire.Overall this is another excellent miniature by Wizkids.

These miniatures have great details on everything from the weapons, clothing, bear fur, and face. I really like the flame detail on the axe. This will make an awesome path of the bear barbarian for my son.
