Albert's Chews Ice Cream 240 Piece Bag

I remember when I was young my sister and I would go to my cousins house because there was a lady who sold penny candy on their block and this was one of the items we would always buy. I don't know what caused me think about penny candy but this particular candy stuck out. I couldn't remember the name of this candy for anything. I remember that it was in a white wrapper with a ice cream cone on the front and it tasted like ice cream but couldn't remember the name. After doing some heavy searching I finally found it. The texture, size, and design is different which is why it was hard for me to find but I found it. When I did I had to have it. Between my sister and I this bag lasted about a month. They're so so thin and small that you have to eat about 20 just to get a satisfaction of two. ;>. Would I buy this again, yes. Would I pay $7.20 S&H for a $3.50 bag, heck no!

I love these chews, but i'd love to find a bag of all chocolate flavor !!! Not buying these anymore. The last 3 bags have been 90% Strawberry or Vanilla , very few Chocolate !! Not a very even balance of mixed flavors.

First Off I was happy to see this candy being offered as it is a childhood favorite of mine. As soon as it arrived I opened it that same day. This bag of candy appeared to be old. Anyone that is familiar with "Chews" knows it is supposed to be be semi soft. The bag I received was hard as a brick. I gave this a one star and I will not be ordering again.

Perfect childhood candy!I absolutely love these, I couldn't wait to get them in the mail! Packaging was not damaged and it Great condition!You should try these if you haven't. Brought back many memories as my taste buds flutter.

They were okay. More like a party favor, or parade handout. Very chewy, and artificial tasting. Kids will love them.

If you've been to a parade lately, you will realize that everyone throws out the same candy - Mostly tootsie rolls! We drive in parades for our Non-Profit a few times a year. This candy has received the greatest response yet. I think mainly because it is different, but we also had children tell us how good it tastes. The ice cream flavors are a bonus for Summertime parades and for the price you can't beat it!
