excellent, highly useful resource
I've never bothered to write a review before, but felt compelled to do so for Rod's book. If you are thinking of building a sidecar rig, you NEED this book. Lots of technical info, in sufficient detail to be very useful. I have no doubt this will save me a many dead-ends and needless reinventions of the wheel in my own sidecar projects. Kudos to the author for taking the trouble to put this book out there. Highly, highly recommended.

Sidecar technical manual
This is book 2 of a 2 book series. A great reference for the person who is thinking about buying a sidecar rig, an in depth study including details for a fabricator wanting to build his/her own sidecar from welded together steel tubing. The author lays out design details, considerations, and is helpful throughout. I highly recommend both volumes

Overly technical
The framing bends and technical matters overpower the building efforts. I built a more light weight car specifically for a 150 scooter with less demanding building efforts and one of less weight and braking demands.
