Great union for connecting a 12v gas pump to a 55 gallon drum
I connected this union to my 12v gas pump as I use it on 55 gal drums. When a drum is empty I need to move the gas pump to the next drum. The problem is the gas pump screws into the drum bung and with the pump hose attached, it is very difficult to unscrew the gas pump from the drum. With this attached to the pump base, I can simply unscrew the union and lift the gas pump from the drum. I then swap the union base to the next drum, reinsert the gas pump in the union, tighten it up and I ready to go with 55 gallons of fresh gas. Works great. Note: I did also buy the "Spears 88 Series PVC Pipe Fitting, Close Nipple, Schedule 80, Gray, 2" NPT Male, 2" Length" to make this all work. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008HQ79SA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4
