Love customer service!
I ordered this in February, 2020, and in May (long past the warranty/refund period), the high temp function stopped working. I contacted Oracer via Amazon to ask how I could fix this. Did I put too big a cup on it, did I set the cup down too hard, whatever. Ana replied, and said essentially, "No clue, we're sending you another one"! I told them I was way past that return point, Ana said it was no problem, the replacement was already sent. So, the replacement is working great, the high heat really gets hot, so when the liquid in your cup gets low, turn down the heat. I love it, and anybody can have a product failure, it's what they do about it that concerns me. I'm very, very happy.

Mediocre at best
I bought two of these in November 2020. One was to replace an older version that was a simple on/off version, but that one had a rim around the heating surface, so it would not work with larger mugs. I thought this one would be a decent replacement, but it has been a chore.First, as others have said it does not get very hot. It makes it so it takes longer for things to get cold, and drinks will never get out and out "cold" while using this. However, they won't stay at an ideal hot temperature even at the highest setting.Next, I have had several issues with certain mugs just out and out not registering as being on the warmer. We've tried picking them up and putting them back down, sliding them around, pushing down on them, everything. It just won't sense that there is a mug placed on the warmer, and as such it won't heat. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why some work and some don't.Lastly, after occasional use (maybe once a week on average), one of them has stopped registering any mugs as being placed on it. Multiple mugs tried, and some will work on the other unit but not on this one. So it lasted only just over a year, which is unacceptable.Overall impressions:Pros: When it works, it is convenient and safe since it won't heat when you aren't using it, so no threat of accidental fires or burns. Easy to clean. Minimalistic - doesn't take up much room.Cons: Everything else. Doesn't heat up hot enough when used. Can be difficult to get the unit to recognize a mug is placed. Does not last.Final thoughts: Do not buy, look elsewhere.

Better than I expected
I had wanted a coffee warmer for a while and got this one almost 2 years ago. It was exactly what I needed and more. Unfortunately, I dropped it from my cluttered desk one too many times and now it no longer stays on when I put a mug on it. So I'm getting a new one! In response to a few reviews/questions:1. It's a warmer, not a heater. If you like your coffee scalding hot, this won't help you. It does keep coffee and tea pretty hot for me.2. The heat conductor disc was a surprise, since it wasn't advertised, but it was a game changer as none of my mugs have a flat bottom.3. Make sure whatever you put on it is heat resistant. I used a small ceramic bowl with melted cheese for my nachos and it worked perfectly.4. It gets hot enough to burn skin. Don't touch the glass surface when hot. It has a border around it that allows you to (carefully) move it around.5. To prevent myself from pushing it off my desk (again), I'll be putting some strong velcro under it to keep it in place. It does have four rubber "feet" under it to prevent it from sliding.6. When you lift the mug/cup, the light starts blinking until you put it back on. After a few minutes, it shuts itself off, which is great. I wouldn't want it to stay on for 8 hours...7. Once your mug is empty (or almost empty), I recommend you remove it from the warmer or turn the warmer off. Otherwise the leftover liquid will evaporate and possibly burn the inside of your mug (just like leaving a pot unattended on the stove). All in all I'm very satisfied, which is why I'm buying it again.

Decent cup warmer
Update 05/22: Will I guess it died, after a month of use. No longer warms up even though the LED indicator comes on. Previously unplugging and plugging back in would resolve this but not this time. Dunno if I can return it without the original box though? It doesn't get as warm as the Mr. Coffee MWBLK warmer I used to have, at least it seems that way, but one thing that's better about this one is that it's surface is flat so it fits bigger mugs than the other one I had.I've had it not heat up at all, even though the indicator light was on, after plugging it in and turning it on, but unplugging it and plugging it back in again seems to resolve that.I unplug and plug it in often to switch desks while working from home, so it's kind of annoying to always be resetting the default mode (remove the auto off sensor) by holding the button down 10 seconds. But not a huge deal.Overall it's OK but I think I like the Mr. Coffee one a bit better.

It's great... when it works.
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited about this product because I can place on my desk to keep my coffee warm throughout the day or place a candle without fear of leaving my room with a candle on.The design is nice, slim, sleek and does not take up space. When I can get it to work, its heats to the perfect temp ( not too hot ) the only issue is that the surface is designed to detect completely flat objects and most of my cups/candles have slight curves. I was only able to find one cup that worked and even so stops working once coffee gets low. I tried using the Insert that came in the packaging (to make the bottom of a cup flat) but that didnt work either . Even if it did work, it's not really convenient because it comes with a sticker that you can only use on one cup .I find myself having to move the cup or candle around to get the light to stop flashing and work.Over all disappointing since I was so excited to have it :( I posted a picture of a cup that didnt work. The red flashing light indicates that it is not warming

Not impressed
We tried different mugs but did not keep the coffee/tea warm. Even this cup (att'd) did not keep the coffee warm enough.
