Great product

I don't need buttermilk very often & buying even the smallest container I wouldn't use all of it & had to throw it out. This buttermilk powder sits in my refrigerator & I can make as much as I need at the moment. It makes my recipes taste just the way they're supposed to.

I always keep powdered buttermilk on had to cook with. This is the best brand. I buy a lot from Bob's Red Mill as they are dependable and great quality.

I use BRMSCBP primarily for baking, but I am thinking about trying it in a marinade for chicken. It is fresh-tasting, not loaded with extra salt like a lot of other brands, and it adds a welcome extra tang to pancakes and cornbread.

I have been a Bob's Red Mill fan for years. The buttermilk is easy to store and use. This buttermilk is actually better and tastier than "fresh" in the carton from the supermarket. I always use it in my baking.

You pay for the quality though. It is a higher end product, but I know that I’m getting a product that will not have any hidden ingredients. I am lactose intolerant and I find I can tolerate powdered milk products in my preparations, like buttermilk biscuits, or pancakes etc. and because they make only fewer lactose free product to date, buttermilk not being one. Also, I don’t use buttermilk on a daily basis, and it’s a waste to buy a carton of it each time to use a cup or so of it, and throw the rest unused, or have to freeze it (and lose part of its good qualities). BRM powdered buttermilk solved the issue.
