Good grief, am I missing something?! Balsamic vinegar can be found everywhere, even in the cheapest and most basic supermarket. I understand not all balsamic vinegars are the same but a decent, aged in oak barrels, all the bells and whistles one can be had for less than half this price.I think balsamic is a big trend and a bit of a fad, but it’ll last as it’s a useful ingredient and adds flavour but that’s all, it’s not a fine wine for quaffing.The bottle is ok, nothing special, slightly peeling label but I don’t buy things for their packaging. The taste of this is the same as my usual one which I get for just under £4. Enough said.

A good balsamic vinegar that you can use for bread dipping or as a dressing for salads, I can't detect much difference between this and cheaper alternatives out there so for a bottle this size there seems to be minimal differences that doesn't really justify the price.

Der Balsamicoessig wird versiegelt geliefert und kann per Stopfen wieder verschlossen werden, was ich angenehmer finde als mit einem Schraubgewinde.Geruchlich, geschmaklich und optisch ist es für mich ein einwandfreier Balsamicoessig, der einen Tick milder und runder und bekömmlicher Schmeckt als mein Supermarkt Balsamico.Für den Tick mehr an Qualität würde ich dann aber doch nicht so viel zahlen. Mir ist natürlich bewusst das ein echter Balsamicoessig aus Modena etwas besonderes ist und daher mehr kostet, aber mir wäre es zu teuer.Fazit:------Wirklich "runder" Balsamicoessig, wäre mir aber zu teuer.

Ich persönlich liebe ja Balsamico-Essig und der von Silk Route Spice Company hat mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Preislich gibt es noch sehr viel teurerer Balsamico-Essig Sorten. Dieser hier schmeckt mir wunderbar. Ich weiß nicht wie ich ihn geschacklich beschreiben soll, aber man schmeckt gut heraus, dass es sich hierbei um einen Balsamico-Essig handeln soll. Preislich und geschmacklich bin ich überzeugt. Wir essen in gern zu Tomate Mozzarella.
