Vortex TAN/Beige Square Tube Frame 4 Bow Pontoon/Deck Boat Bimini TOP 12' Long, 91-96

First and foremost.. shipping time was estimated 10-15 days or more.. this thing literally showed up on my porch the next day. Insane.I've assembled but not installed or used this bimini. These are preliminary observations that I will update.Pros:-Ludicrous shipping speed (perhaps even plaid)- Thoughtful cover.. double zippers for the pouch that attacheds to the bows, can be removed without taking down frame!- frame assembly was very straightforward and easy. Doable with one creative person.-sheds water effectivelyCons:-cover material feels thin. 600D may not be enough.- plastic hardware at connection points feels very flimsy (especially eager to test these on water)- sides of cover are not at all held on the middle 2 bows.. I think this might result in excessive flapping in motion.- directions show exact opposite facing for front and back when compared to ads. Some confusion for assembly.- the only accommodation for an all around light is a cutout in the top. Wiring will require drilling in at awkward places potentially compromising integrity, and likely voiding the nice warranty.My initial impression is that this bimini will be fantastic for sitting still.. I'm very concerned that it will behave poorly when deployed in motion. I will test and update.

I was skeptical about buying anything with plastic/nylon pieces. I bought this Bimini in June 2019 and in May 2020 the nylon attachment fittings broke. I had the Bimini in a laid back position with the boot on it due to light winds. Went out to find the Bimini lying in the water.

I am really impressed with this awning. I was a little leery of it at first but it has performed well. Fittings are plastic but seem to be holding up fine. I bought the 12ft version and it shades my pontoon well.

Great, easy assemble ready for summer!
