This is a decent enough alarm clock, so long as you are mindful of all the BUTS in this review, for example there is a dimmer switch BUT it only has two settings: normal and extremely bright, which means it doesn’t really “dim” any dimmer than a clock that doesn’t dim.There is a volume control for the alarm BUT regardless of what you set it for, the unit will ramp up the volume on its own as the alarm is going off until it reaches its loudest volume, which it does in about 3 seconds. (The manual says within 3-5 seconds, BUT it’s more like 2-3 seconds.) Since it’s going to max out its volume anyway, there’s really no point setting the alarm volume in the first place. Why is this a feature if the volume won’t stay where you set it?The snooze button is located on the top of the unit and is larger than the other buttons BUT it’s closely surrounded by the other buttons, which means in the dark it’s easy to accidentally hit a different button instead. This is a problem because if you hit ANY other button than the snooze button, it turns the alarm OFF and it won’t go off again until the same time the next day.When you do successfully hit the snooze button, the alarm indicator blinks to let you know it is snoozing. If you turn off the alarm by accident by hitting another button, the alarm indicator doesn’t blink which lets you know the alarm is off BUT there’s no way to put the alarm back into snooze mode unless you go to the trouble to reset the alarm for a new time, which means you’re awake anyway so you might as well go ahead and get up and forget about snoozing.According to the manual the snooze will snooze “for 9 minutes” BUT it actually snoozes for 8 minutes. Most other alarm clocks will sound at (for example) 5:30, 5:39, 5:48, 5:57, and 6:06, but this one sounds at 5:30, 5:38, 5:46, 5:54, and 6:02 because it strangely counts the minute during which you pressed the snooze button as the first of the new nine minutes.If you want an alarm clock that will suddenly jar you awake, this one will do the trick mercilessly. It is definitely not recommended for those of us who like to keep hitting the snooze button and wake up gradually. Caveat emptor.

Needed a new alarm clock and was pretty pleased with this one. It's super easy to read the digits and I didn't even have to use the instruction booklet to set the time and alarm. But really,the best part is that the numbers are blue which is easier on the eyes in a dark bedroom and the dimmer function is fantastic and just enough change so it doesn't kill my eyes. And it's pretty solid built since it's been dropped more than once already and still works great

The sound is rather thin. But I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother who listens to talk radio, so sound quality is not an issue. Ease of using control buttons was the most important factor which this device has. Also battery backed settings means I don’t have to go reset the time and stations every time the device is unplugged.

I love the Alarm clock radio.It's just what I needed. The radio works fine.i needed an alarm clock and now I got one. The Dream SKY FM Radio Alarm clock works great. It arrived on timed.I reccomend it. Easy to set up.

Easy to read from across the room. Good FM radio sound. Nice features . The only negative is the alarm ON-OFF-RADIO button is a 3 position slide switch on the upper back side of the unit. It would be nice if this switch was easier to locate and to find the (center) OFF position.

This radio is apparently very well made. It is in my horse barn and one night, the cats must have been playing and knocked it off a shelf onto a concrete floor. While the front cover came off, it was easy to re-attach and absolutely nothing broke. Very happy with purchase.

I was looking for a clock radio for my bathroom, something that had large/bright numbers, a USB port and a FM radio. This is perfect! The radio reception isn't the greatest, I'd recommend looking for something of higher value if this is crucial to you (or AM radio), but it works for me.

I like this clock very much. Easy to read and not difficult to set time. Just the right size for my small table. One can brighten if one needs to. There is a dimmer switch on the clock.
