I will never buy another brand purifier. I live in public housing where there is a major meth manufacturing issue going on that people are totally oblivious to. We are sensitive individuals and have had to move numerous times due to harmful VOCs in our home from what they’re doing. Ammonia, hydrochloric acid, Formic acid, benzene and numerous other hazardous fumes. This is the ONLY thing that has given us any relief from the side effects. It is expensive but worth it. This is my second one. The first one still works and we’ve had it over 3 years from when someone donates it to us. The only thing I will say is be careful not to accidentally step on the cord while pushing it from room to room. That’s the only issue we have is it turns off but it’s from the cord being pulled on but that is from my own carelessness. I turned this new one on and particles went from 488 to 160 in less than a half hour. Total VOCs went from .11 mgs to 0.04 in about 10 mins. It kills the flu, it traps mold and other pollutants as well. This thing works and I highly recommend this product.

These Nuwave Whole House filters are wonderful. Their design is perfect, drawing the air from ground level and powerfully expelling it through the top aimed upwards. We like the way it filters and cleans dust and odor so well, we invested in a second one. They are big, but do a big job! And moving them is a breeze with the wheels. When they are at maximum work level, sound a little like running water out of a faucet. Doesn’t bother anyone, because they are purifying the air. You can really tell the difference in the atmosphere since they arrived. They are a little bit pricey, but do a great job and maintenance is cheap, because most of the 5 filters are brush-able or washable. The cabinet is very accessible, so easy to clean everything. The two are about 6 months old now and still running like new. Also, you can control them with your WiFi devices. Great product. We’re so glad we took the risk. Recommend.

This filter is superb!! Been in operation 3 days now. We are both smokers. Today I went shopping for groceries and was gone 2 hours. I was out in clean air, no smoke, so I got used to the smoke-free air. When I got back, entered the house, there was NO SMOKE ODOR AT ALL!!! This unit uses an electrostatic cleaner (8,000 volts) along with the HEPA filter. We keep it at fan speed 3 out of 6. It’s quiet! The air sensors are very accurate and sensitive! It pegged to max when I was cooking dinner last night! This filter is superb! It has every option you could want for keeping your entire house (up to 2,000 sq ft) clean and odor free! Also comes with an installed HEPA filter and 4 SPARES!! Cleanable stainless steel prefilter, cleanable electrostatic filter, no ozone smell cleanable ozone halt filter, replaceable HEPA filter. It self-monitors all filter status, tells you when to clean and replace! At $600, I was hesitant… but now both my wife and I are glad we got this! We can’t run our window fan to air out the house in winter or summer, so this filter is PERFECT!!! It does what it promises!

This unit is easy to use and works when you need it. We have it in our restaurant seating area which is about 4800 cu Ft. This unit is supposed to take care of 2500 cu Ft, I believe. However, it works great in our seating area of 20X20X12. I noticed it instantly detects foul orders (dirty mop buckets, garbage cans rolling next to it) and instantly kicks into another gear to clear the air when in auto. The turbo button (not sure it's called "turbo") is a a good way to prep the area if you know you'll be working in the area. We just opened and this came in handy during and after our restoration. It is quiet and looks really nice. It is easy to move and has many control options. We use the auto mode while open and manually turn it off at night. It has a timer and scheduler but we've not used those features yet. There are a lot of filters and many extra filters. That's a nice bonus. A little on the pricey side, but for the volume of air we ask it to clean, and all its features, it's worth the investment. Strange this is, after I've been working all day and stand next to this unit, it kicks into high gear and the indicators show "dirty"... Maybe it's trying to tell me I need a shower? ... I take it that the sensor is tuned to sense humidity and sweat and reacts to conditions in the air. Love this unit, I recommend purchasing.

Works great

Purchased with extra filters early April 2025 and was not difficult to assemble. Seems well made and relatively quiet on lower speeds. I have been using it on 'auto' for setting so it does move to higher speeds at times and will definitely hear it at higher speeds. 2100 sq ft house in rural area next to farming field (soy beans this year) and placed in rarely used living room. I have noticed a reduction in dust since using. I haven't noticed much of an increase in electricity use (I do track monthly KWH) so it is fairly efficient. Using for 4 months 24/7 with zero problems. I have not received a warning light to clean the filters after 4 months so I am planning on cleaning filters on first of the month so I can't comment on cleaning. Time will tell on longevity. Kind of pricey (at least for me) but I am satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this and it was delivered the next day! It's a lot bigger than I had expected. Says it cleans 1200 square feet. My house is about 1100 and nearly 100 years old so you can imagine old dust and mold that you can't see. It has an indicator light telling you the quality of the air. When I first turned it on it said, "TILT!!" Within 2 hours it was down to normal and I could tell a massive difference in the air quality. I have a dog so there is dander. I have a large cockatoo and they put off a white powder that gets on everything in the house like dust. I have a sensitivity to gas heat and stay sick until the AC is back on again. My lungs always feel raw and sore. Not after sleeping with that thing running last night! It actually smells sweet in the house and I woke up and my lungs weren't sore. Those that are overly picky about noise won't like it on high setting. It does make a roar but not bad. I like the sound of a fan running for background noise. Most of the filters have a 20 year lifetime to them. There are extra filters that come with it as well. That's very nice. It is on rollers and you can move it around with ease. It's not that heavy. If it keeps me well and feeling good this winter then it was worth every penny. I've tried other machines and they just don't work and you are eaten alive by the cost of filters that you have to change constantly. These filters are washable.

If I could give this zero stars, I would! I ordered this with high hopes. With the wildfires happening I thought his would help our air quality in my home and also be a great investment considering the price. The order came within a few days of ordering. Upon getting the order, the unit arrived in a large brown box well padded. Out of the box the auto function did not work as it should. The lights would be illuminated, but the fan would not run....ever! After a few days, it did start to work on auto (weird). The unit continued to work for about 2 weeks on auto, then auto function stopped working again!! I tried calling the manufacturer, which was a total waste of time. The phone rang for over an hour with no answer. I would think when people are paying almost $700 for a product, they would have better customer service. I finally gave up and decided to return since I only had a few days left on my 30 days. If you are considering this product, I would say look elsewhere. I do want to add that I also ordered another unit for my father in law. he had the same issues. However, he contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement (i tried this with mine and was told that wasn't an option??). Upon receipt of his replacement we noticed that the replacement unit came in a brown box and an additional white manufactures box (makes me wonder if the first 2 units were refurbished??). So far the new unit is working, lets see how this one works out. Additionally, I want to add that my mom also ordered one. Her unit arrived in only a brown box with no visible damage. However, the unit didn't even work out of the box!!!!! All the lights were illuminated no fan ever came on no matter the setting. She will now be sending hers back. Buyer beware!!!
