This set also includes an excellent teacher’s manual which is teaching me all about electricity, so I can in turn teach my son! All in all, worth every penny!! Once they figure out what it takes to make circuits they want to do it on their own and learn just as much when their project doesn't work. The case makes the components easy to store and teaches the child organization. We did have to buy the 2nd set because the 7 year old thought too much of his to share with the 2 year old. The younger one absolutely loves the helicopter blade and already understands which way the batteries must go in. There is plenty of room for additional circuits in the second foam included. One is attached to the cover and the second one is placed above the other part of the case. Well, at least on the model that I have, but I cannot see it in the picture shown. **Q: Is there an adult version of this type?** A: Hello, technically adults can also learn a lot using this electronic kit. Age range 8 and up. We don't have a specific adult version. **Q: Can two children build two different projects independently?** A: They could as the kit comes with two battery packs; however, there's only one base in which to build upon. **Q: What is the difference between this and the regular EC-300? Just the case?** A: The EC appears to be the European version, is that where you live?
