ELEGOO Building Plate for Mars LCD 3D Printer with Anti-Slip Hexagon Socket Screws and CNC Turning CD Pattern, Compatible with Mars Pro

I was new to resin, and scratched my original build plate pretty badly. I ordered this build plate and absolutely love it. It's a very well made piece of equipment, and i like that this one is machined without the coating on it like the original had. My prints stick to it nicely, and with some IPA sprayed on the bed by the print they just pop off! Great value

Straight out of the box, it's amazing. It seems to compensate for the original Mars squished bottom layer issue. And the surface not only has amazing adhesion, but at the same time, makes things super easy to remove when done!

I own two Mars Standards and a Mars Pro.I have replaced both my standard plates on my standard Mars' with these. This is the plate that comes with the (rarely available) Mars Pro.While utterly unscientific, I do think that they get better adhesion than the painted plate and that prints are easier to deplate than on the painted plate.This "automatically" goes into the cart (Along with a USB Extension) when I buy another Elegoo Mars printer.

SLA 3d printers are messy and require cleaning of the building plate every time you finish a print job. That means that you can't continue to print while you're cleaning the building plate if you don't have another one. By having a second one I could immediately put it in the printer after removing the first one with the finish print, and continue printing while attending to remove the printed job from the first building plate and cleaning it. Make sure though that you have a second resin tank ready for print for replacing at the same time, because you don't want to use the first tank that just finished printing, as it may have cured resin at its bottom which require cleaning before the building place goes all the way down on it. Or else it may break the LCD screen beneath it.

This buildplates' adhesion is great, everything is amazing, but the "anodized" plating is now coming off like goo. Black bits are dropping into my resin and when I try to wash more of the "anodized" section off it gets stuck in the grooves of the plate like inky paint tar. Love the reliability of the plate and knowing my prints will stick... hate the weird black coating on the top part of the plate. I'll have to take a day and get it all off at once.

Great replacement for your old build plate. The bigger set screws are definitely nicer and easier to use/tighten and less prone to stripping. I had about 2000 hours of print time on my old build plate and it was about time to change it as i was having adhesion problems.One thing that i will advise against, is that Elegoo seems to hike their prices almost 30% and i am expecting them to hike the price on this as well. They have done it with their water washable resin, the metal vats, and the plastic vats. I understand supply and demand is a thing but the prices never go back down.At the initial time of purchase this is a good upgrade, but i will be taking away stars if the price is hiked as much as elegoo's previous products.

Purchased these to upgrade my original Mars printers. It's even more solid than the original build plate, and the larger set screws work nicely. Some people were able to level the original plate once and leave it alone, but I was always re-leveling between prints. With the new plate I have been able to level once and get many prints without touching the set screws.The texture change grabs the first layer well, but also looks better after scraping than the original coated version.

I purchased this because my buildplate was losing adhesion and I didn't want to sand it. This was a great alternate and well-priced alternate option. I've since had success with the entire build area. Be sure to take care what tools are used to remove your models from the plate as they are all prone to scuffing and that can have a direct effect on the build plate surface over time.
