AirTamer A310 Personal Rechargeable and Portable Air Purifier Negative Ion Generator, Purifies Air Eliminating Germs, Dust, Viruses, Bacteria, Allergens, Mold, Odors, and More, Black

I wrote this review originally for the A302. I switched to the A310 about a year ago, mainly for the convenience of USB recharging instead of having to keep buying batteries. Otherwise the story is the same:Here's my complete factual experience with this product. You can draw your own conclusions.I originally bought the Airtamer for use on airplanes, as most do. I have flown Delta and American, and there has never been an issue with wearing it. Before I bought it I used to get sick regularly after traveling. In the years since I bought it, this has never happened again.I am also a teacher and getting older and more prone to illness. Four years ago I got sick 5 times during the school year. Three years I got sick 5 times before Christmas. So, I decided to try wearing the Airtamer at school as well as on airplanes, and began Jan. 1, 2014. As of Dec. 3, 2014, I have not had a cold since (knock wood!).I also noticed that, since I started wearing it daily, my usual allergies have been diminished. I find that if I have an allergy attack and turn on the Airtamer, the attack usually goes away with 10 minutes, often less.**Update 2/7/16: It has been more than 2 years now since I started wearing this every day. I'm superstitious and don't want to jinx it, so I'll just say that the story I tell above, as it relates both to allergies and to lack of illness, is, so far, unchanged.

It is a good product , i ordered it to prevent my self from pollution in delhi , though it reduces pollution level (pm 2.5 approx 70 to 80 percentage for pm level of 250 and below it is inefficient to reduce pollution when pm 2.5 is above 500, also it needs to wear as near as possible bcoz distance reduce it's effectiveness. So definitely not usable for very heavy pollution like in new Delhi but good for country like US where the air quality is decent , i attached photos you can see pollution levels are reduced after 3 min s of placing it near by

I have chemical sensitivities, mold sensitivities, and seasonal allergies. I can say that the AirTamer helps just a tad when it comes to chemical smells. I use it when I paint and when I'm working with coworkers that wear strong perfume. If it is a faint smell I really feel like it helps a lot. However, if the perfume is very strong and I'm having to stand near the person it can only do so much. Better off with it than without in those cases, though! Also, I have had many good experiences using this product to combat allergies. During ragweed season I'll get struck with some insane allergies... I put the AirTamer on and the allergies go from unbearable to very manageable in about 10 minutes. Comparing this to a spells I've had over the years where nothing helped... this was kind of a miracle worker. I'd definitely recommend it!

I'm very sensitive to ozone so I had to first return an Air Supply Mini-Mate AS180 because the ozone was too much for me. This unit is perfect for me. I flew a roundtrip on United. No problem with airline staff. I am usually very much bothered by the jet fuel and engine fumes whenever I fly so I wanted an ionizer-purifier. I bought the AIrTamer at the beginning of Nov 2018. When I wore it to fly, I felt very well during my flights.Some reviewers were bothered by the cord but I decided to try this unit anyway even though I have very sensitive skin. Gratefully I was not bothered at all by the cord while I was flying. I also wear my unit from time to time when not flying and have on occasion 'adjusted' the cord. I guess I became 'aware' of it on my skin a couple of times but it was not painful or irritating. Perhaps there is some other factor involved, such as possibly the level of hydration of the wearer at the time. I am careful to be very well hydrated before flights.This unit is comfortable, light, effective, with excellent battery life. Love that it's rechargeable. I leave it hanging up charging in my car so it's with me whenever I need it. I like to use it in traffic when the road fumes really get inside the car. Worth it just for the car. Beats any passenger compartment air filter by a long shot.

New Improved? I think not. I purchased the A310 because I have an Airtamer A302 which I use a lot and like. The reason for me buying the A310 was because of the rechargeable feature and the fact it states that it is new, improved. I feel as though the air output is not as great as the A302 but most of all I miss the clip that my A302 has attached to it. I use the clip all the time and now when I wear the A310 it is dangling at the wrong length and gets caught on hair, sweaters, necklaces etc. Stick with the A302, a great product.

My mother - in - law has many terrible, some life - threatening, allergies. Over many years, it’s been very difficult for her to be around odors such as perfumes. It has limited her socializing. The AirTamer works great for her! She can now sit in crowds and visit with friends astonishingly much, much more freely. It’s light so it doesn’t pull on her neck. She loves it!! A friend of ours, who also has severe allergies, had a product from another company that was very heavy, and didn’t work as well as the AirTamer. When she saw how it worked for my mother - in- law, she wanted one for herself. She loves hers also!

I purchased this product after Hurricane Harvey struck my hometown with a vengeance. I have a history of high sensitivity to mold and mildews. This little Gadget made it possible for me to continue to live in my hometown and conduct my life as usual without constantly feeling run down, Sick, and no recurrence of hives. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has difficulty with air quality. I stopped wearing it for about 3 months to make sure it was doing the job I believed it was doing and I once again began to have severe issues with the air quality in my hometown. I am a firm believer this is a working effective remedy for anyone with air quality issues.

I have just charged this portable air purifier, so I haven't been outside to try it yet, but I can feel the air coming thorough it in the house

I suffer from a lot of Rhinitis and sereve allergy from cigarette smoke, pollution, strong aerosol smells. I bought this Airtamer. I really works...I wish I had this device all my life. Yesterday I walked on a busy polluted street for half an hour with the Airtamer around my neck, I did not have to take an antiallergy pill or spray yesterday. Odours and strong smells do not go away, but somehow I did not fall ill. I guess it prevents harmful irritants from entering the nostrils. Thank you Airtamer....Highly recommend.

I already own one of these.. This one was purchased as a gift. I think everyone should have one. Especially if you travel by air. I purchased my unit after recovering from a 7 month battle with a lung infection that developed after a flight. I wear it any time I am going out in crowds or if my allergies bother me.
