This lamp is great. I love the aesthetic and how easy to use it is. I have thoroughly enjoyed using this nail lamp.I have had this lamp for about 5 months now and when I was trying to do my gel nails, the lamp wasn't turning on when I connected it. Turns out that one of the little prongs that connects to the power cable, was broken. I contacted customer service right away. I was expecting to get a response after a day or two, but to my surprise I was assisted right after I sent the email. I told them the situation and now they are going to send a replacement. I am very pleased with their customer service and will definitely be purchasing from Beetles again!

At $22, the Beetles UV LED Gel Nail Lamp (84W) is a great value. I've bought a number of different UV lamps, and have decided which features I like, and which I don't. I don't like lamps that have a bottom plate, as they tend to be harder to sterilize. I don't like lamps that are for two hands. I don't like lamps that max out at 60 seconds.The Beetles lamp avoids all of the things that I dislike, while simultaneously adding a number of things that I really like a lot. First, the lamp has anonymous styling... there's no enormous logo or manufacturer name on it, and it blends into a spa décor. Second, this device has a normal two-conductor power cord. I can't even stress how nice that is, compared to having a barrel connector wall adapter with a thin, dinky cord. It's super nice. Finally, it just works. While some lights I've gotten in the past clearly were underpowered, the Beetles lamp cures quickly. Highly recommended

A girl at my nail tech college accidentally dropped it and I've owned it for about a year now. Nothing happened. It's indestructible! I also bedazzled it like 9 months ago but make sure you use non-toxic non-flammable glue when bedazzling! It tries its best with motion detection but it honestly doesn't work sometimes and it freaks out sometimes if your hand/swatch stick moves in the slightest after putting it in so I'm stuck having to reset it a lot which is fine because it has buttons and most people just use UV lamps with buttons anyways.

My recommendation is to use the 120s timer for every coat. You may even need to do it twice. It does take a bit longer than a professional nail salon because the lamp wattage is lower. The product works great if you give your nails enough time to cure. I used GE&AD base and top coat and Amalie nail color. The lamp is very easy to use. The motion sensor is very sensitive so just make sure you don’t move your hand or fingers or the timer will shut off. Over all great product and value!

All in all it’s a great lamp to dry any gel polish. Today was my first time using it and I was a little nervous about the lamp when I first read the reviews but it worked great. I’ve used many lamps before and this does just the job and it has the 30s setting for base coats, 60s for gel color and 120s for the last top coat. All bulbs work but I must say that the motion sensor is very sensitive so if your worried it’s flickering because it’s not working it’s probably because something brushed under it that set off the motion sensor. I would recommend this lamp to anyone who wants a lamp to do the job and is in an affordable price range.

When all the lights are working it’s a great lamp. But after some use some of the lights went out. I contacted beetles directly and they quickly responded with wanting to fix the problem. After providing the order number and a picture They gave me a refund with no hesitation! I will definitely be buying more beetle products! Great customer service

Found this model on a website that reviewed UV lamps. I was already purchasing Beetles brand gels and wanted the same brand lamp. Definitely professional grade. Had to cure nails a little more than directions stated but gel manicure turned out great and I used my own base and top coats.Sparkle polish got a little heated under lamp but other colors didn’t. If you are in the market for a home UV lamp for gel manicures that doesn’t break the bank . Look no further. Just give your nails an extra turn under lamp to cure ! Hope this helps

With the nail salons closed, I decided it was time to start doing my own gel nails. This lamp is perfect for the DND nail polish that I purchased. The only glitch is that it does not automatically detect if my hand is in the lamp. I have to press the timer and then wait for it to start counting before placing my hand in. If I do it too soon, the numbers are wonky and essentially malfunction. Overall, I’ve been really pleased with this product and I’ve been able to do my nails during this safer at home order!
