I am not sure of the overall sturdiness because I just received them but I do have one comment. When I opened the box my first thought was.....these are super small. I mean they will work since I have super small hands....I am a postal worker and I wear XS gloves...so if you are a man with big hands you might want to pick another brand. Hope this helps someone! :-)*** Edit....so now that I have used these I am editing. So while this does make it easier to make your meatballs all the same size for uniformity it does not fix the problem that the slimy meat still sticks in the baller. So the point is that you still have to use your hands and touch the meat. It is also not super easy to get stuck meat out of the baller either. So in my opinion this contraption is not even as good as a food service grade scooper with the scraper built in.
