Grannicks Bitter Apple Taste Deterrent for Dogs - 2 Pack

I have a large, extremely rambunctious puppy (80 lbs) whose goal in life is to destroy everything in our house. Spraying water became a game until your Bitter Apple. Slowly but surely she is learning some manners. I have purchased this product several times.

This is a tried and true product, that has been around for a long time. It is rather costly, and what exacerbates that fact is that it is sold in these useless speay-pump bottles, that typically fail and gum up, and even when new, they are not adjustable and tend to dribble the contents all over, and especially on your hands.As far as usage, it works very well if you use it as a preemptive measure. i e. Spray it daily on every item/area, etc. You want to keep safe. I do that for about a week, and have almost full proof results. It is safe for most house plants too. If you wait until your pet has already started chewing, you might find this product far less effective.

This product, when sprayed on dog puppy pad, keeps puppies from biting and shredding pads.

It really works! I tried others the were supposed to stop the chewing after my dog started to eat the table legs and walls. This stoped it. He hates the taste. It’s also safe to put on him so it helps with his constant paw chewing between baths and only if necessary because he really hates it. But be where, you will to so protect areas that you spray if you will need to later touch, because this stuff is horrible!

This helps us alot in training. We have a GSD and he hates this stuff. We only use it in correcting his bad habits. His bad habits have now come to a stop after a week of use.

It doesn’t work. At all. Whatsoever.

My labs chewed up half my siding on the back of the house, dousing it with this stuff got them to stop and outgrow their chewing phase.. Really worked well.. bought it when we moved to insure that they would not chew.. .
