Perfect for dry and sensitive skin
I've used this product in the past however its been a couple of years. I can't use benzoyl peroxide as it makes my skin extremely red and itchy. This is the first acne product that actually is quite moisturizing and doesnt make my skin red or itchy! You use this inbetween your cleanser and moisturizer and I have seen a difference in my deep skin cysts that I'm prone to get! Don't expect results overnight however consistent use pays off! Ive actually gotten compliments that my skin in glowing and this is the only thing that has changed!

A product that actually works on mature skin withou harshness!!
I have oily skin that's sensitive. I'm not sure how the process works, but this keeps my skin clear of occasional breakouts without drying it out. It's especialiy effective on tiny bumps that are stubborn. Regular use has kept my face clear with NO irritation, dryness or redness. I use this under my primer and makeup during the day. At night I use it before moisturizing.

One ingredient to be aware of / Depends on your unique skincare needs:
The acne conscious members of our household have used Control Corrective products with good results yet less expensive products can often be found to be equally effective. If looking for acne treatment success many typically seek out a brand with 2% salicylic acid. This one has hydrogen peroxide. It can cause irritation in a minority of users. We also urge the Control Corrective folks to list the full ingredients hierarchy here. Fortunately, the third picture from the top does list the ingredients if you don’t mind squinting a bit to read it. One preservative near the middle of the ingredients list is worth knowing about: Phenoxyethanol. There have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. Mothers and grandmothers love to hug their grandbabies and studies indicate this preservative should be avoided around the youngest of children. Those who wish to learn more and make the best personal decision regarding this ingredient may consider doing an online search for “phenoxyethanol safety.”Keep in mind that several beauty brands include phenoxyethanol. Reactions are uncommon yet it’s fairly rare for skincare products to include it fairly high up in the hierarchy of ingredients.

Treats, doesn’t prevent
Did a good job of treating and healing active acne, but didn’t stop or prevent new acne from forming. The dreaded “mask-acne” started up with mandatory masks at work and I keep getting breakouts on my cheeks and around my mouth and jawline. For oily acne prone skin, it does a good job of treating and healing, just wish it would work better at preventing.
