My Alesis is freezing. Should I return it?

Hi, Alesis support here! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our Strike Multipad; this behavior is not to be expected. This type of issue can often be resolved by restoring your product to the factory settings. To reset your device, turn off the module then press and hold the Stop and Enter buttons whilst powering up the module. "Resetting Factory Defaults..." will be displayed on the module, wait 5 seconds, then let go of the buttons! Does alesis have dust covers for their strike pro multipads?

Not specific to this device, but I usually go to a fabric store and buy enough material to cover my devices. Sometimes you can get remnants cheap too

where can i download more sounds?

When I'm able to I will. I'm using the Alesis as a sampler for the most part now and many of the 30 pre recorded samples but I will eventually get down to some serious work, working with it manually.

Amazing product with loaded features.

Being a beginner, I find it easy to learn, operate and edit kits. It's preloaded sounds are amazing and audio quality is excellent. Sometimes the sensitivity of pads is low and some beats are missing, being the only negative I can think of. Will update my review after 3 months again
