The silicone makes all the difference! Dough or frosting slides down easily into the bag. The hook on the top helps you hold the bag in place while filling and later holding. Cleaning this bag is so easy! Warm sudsy water slides through and nothing sticks to the side of the bag. With a good rinse, you have a clean bag again. I hooked mine over my glass holder on my drying rack to be sure it dried before storage. One tip----roll the top down as you use the bag.
